GHOST RECON WILDLANDS PVP Update 3 - Extended Ops

Ubisoft continues the development of Ghost Recon Wildlands and announced Update 3 Extended Ops. The update expands Ghost War with a new game mode called recovery and exclusive new maps. Cosmetic Lootboxen are also coming into play.

Extended Ops extends the PvP Ghost War mode to include the rescue mode. One team has to locate one of two hostages and then escort them out of a conflict zone while the other team defends the locations of these hostages. But strategic action is more important than ever to win the round. The game mode includes two exclusive cards called "Institute" and "Workshop", where players have to adjust their style of play and develop new tactics. Both new cards are available for both fast and ranked games.

Extended Ops introduces Lootboxes designed to provide an easy way to visually customize the game experience in the Campaign, as well as in the Coop (Spec Ops) or Ghost War (PvP). Ubisoft emphasizes that "the system remains balanced and fair for all players". The slaughter boxes have "no effect on the gameplay and the game progress of the player," writes in the FAQ. All players receive a Spec Ops box and a Ghost War box as a gift, which can be redeemed through Ubisoft Club. Slaughter boxes cost 400 store credits in the shop (currently 800 credits cost 5 euros - but there are larger bundles with price advantages). Each slaughter box contains 3 items that you do not own yet.

Spec-ops boxes contain "epic and exotic weapons as well as vehicles and cosmetic objects". Ghost War Crates contain "exotic weapons (redesigned versions of weapons already in the game, with weapon values ​​remaining the same), as well as customization objects and a new, exclusive set of skins for characters called cult" , All the cosmetic objects you receive can be used both in the campaign and in Ghost War mode, according to Ubisoft. Above the slaughter boxes are more than 200 objects available. All objects except the cult skins should be purchasable in the shop over the different package offers.

The size of the patch depends on the existing version. It is around 8 GB on Steam, 14 GB on Uplay and up to 13.5 GB on consoles.
