Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of salmon (1000 grams)
  • 150 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Grated zest of half a lemon
  • 25 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 25 grams of fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small bunch of parsley (7 - 8 grams)
  • Appropriate amount of paprika
  • Appropriate amount of salt
  • Appropriate amount of freshly ground black pepper

    Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F, with both upper and lower heating elements on. Remove the skin from the salmon. If you like fish skin, you can skip this step. Don't throw away the removed fish skin as it can be baked until crispy and used to decorate the plate. Season both sides of the fish with salt and black pepper. Place the fish on a baking tray lined with baking paper or tin foil.

Step 2: Mince the garlic into a paste. Use a zester to grate the lemon peel into fine pieces. Stir the cream cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt and black pepper together until well - combined, and set aside.
Grate the Parmesan cheese and mix it with the breadcrumbs and chopped parsley. Add some salt to season, and set this mixture aside as well.

Step 3: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the salmon.

Step 4: Place the mixed breadcrumbs on top of the cream - cheese - coated salmon.

Step 5: Put it in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes until the fish meat turns light pink. Sprinkle with parsley for decoration and then arrange it on the plate.
