The producers intended for Halloween to be an anthology series, but the sequel with Michael Meyers made the third the odd one out. If this was Halloween II, the series might be drastically different today.

This film is OK. As a parent the concept is pretty scary and that creepy Silver Shamrock jingle has taken on a life of its own outside the film.
