RE: Interview with the Vampire (film): it's not that great
Films about vampires - a thing quite profitable. Not without reason, the characteristic tapes are removed every year with enviable constancy. But for me, there are few "vampire" films that can stand on a par with Interview with the Vampire. Because this film managed to embody in itself all that, in fact, and these mysterious creatures attract us. Beauty and doom. It always seemed to me that this film is not about death or the problem of choice (although if you like, you can find many meanings and symbols in "Interview with the Vampire"). It is about beauty - about beauty, seeing that, you feel that your heart is about to burst from the impossibility to embrace and understand it ... From the inability to possess it.
