Geology of Cape Columbine Nature Reserve
The landscapes of the park are products of a long and complex geological history of geological folding,
intrusions and sea level changes. The three main strata in the area are made up of limestone, granite and sand.
This image reveals crosscutting of possibly dolorite into granite by later intrusions into the preexisting rock formations.
