Fracture IPA
Another really great NEIPA from HOMES Brewery! Let me tell you this dank citrus forward IPA was just what I needed after a long day of struggle to be productive in quarantine.
The aroma is smooth with citrus, pineapple, orange and almost yeasty notes. I also pick up a slight acidity to the aroma.
The appearance is pillowy orange juice. It’s a hazy yellow with a white head that fades into a thin small bubbles halo. That halo clings to the glass leave some lacing.
The flavor is crisp and slightly alcoholic. With notes of grape, citrus, pineapple and orange. Th e middle is more acidic with notes of pine and bitter hops. The finish is dry with a nice back of the mouth pucker.
The mouthfeel is super light and chewy. It’s a odd combination because NEIPAs always feel heavy to me. However, this was not. It had chew, but none of the heavy qualities.
