I been in Genesis mining for over 12mths. It's been a great experience so far. I'll keep this story short and sweet.
How does it work:
You buy Hash Power, (kind of like renting the hardware in a sense), Genesis will mining the coins, you get paid based on how much hash power you have bought. The more hash power you have the more you earn per day . Simple as that.
What Mining contracts are there?
There are many contracts you can buy being the BTC opened contract, Eth 2yr, DashX11 2 yr, Monero 2Yr, (Litecoin not available) Actually the Dashx11 only came available last night as of writing this post its the most profitable contract having been unavailable for months. I don't know how long it will last.
Pretty much hands free income.

Con's
It's slow. For example the BTC Open ended contract 1 Terra Hash will cost $150, expect to get $0.80-$0.85 cents per day for this.

How to speed up your income:
- Add more funds and do it regularly
Compound so when you get paid use that money to buy another contract immediately the next day. This has to be done manually.

First of thank for this information. I was thinking about. Could you share your personal experience in details, like how viable its in a long run with smaller funds? Do they have contracts to siacoin? What are the potential risks? Appreciate you sharing this info.
I do buy trade Sia Coin, buying and selling on Bittrex. I think this one is good long term coin because it has a very cost effective business model with high profit margin compared to this bigger brothers. You will look back 12mths from now and wish you bought more ;)

Yes exactly what @dimitrya123 said as long as the price goes up and remains same or more than difficulty you will always make a nice profit. BTC, ETH, LTC, DASH are all going to go up X2- X4 fold in 12months time. We are in a digital Gold Rush boom. Enjoy it now it's a special time in history.

no only the payout. In mining allocation you can select multiple coins but this is only the payout when you get paid. So for example if you have 50% on XMR and 50% on LTC, that's what your payout will be. But it mines XMR as this is the contract you initially bought, if that makes sense. Thanks for your feedback.
Yes, you can directly mine Monero (XMR). I think there are still contracts available.

My payout match what I got, meaning if 0.1500 Dash was sent from Genesis Mining, that's what I got in my Dash wallet.
