Fanart: Kan y Anya (Afterorder) ENG/ESP (with process)

For the second fan art made for the Afterorder contest I took as a reference two characters, Anya who is a Colonel who hates politicians and Kan, well, a politician. As each character has a phrase that defines them, I was inspired by it to create this scene, which I made as detailed as possible, each element provides a reference and helps to build Kan's personality since I made them in what would be his office.

Para el segundo fan art hecho para el concurso de Afterorder tomé como referencia a dos personajes, Anya que es una Coronel la cual detesta a los políticos y Kan pues, un político. Como cada personaje tiene una frase que los define, me inspiré en ello para crear esta escena, la cual la hice lo mas detallada posible, cada elemento aporta una referencia y ayuda a construir la personalidad de Kan ya que los hice en lo que sería su oficina.

It was quite complex for me to make the composition, I looked for some office references but none of them fully conformed to what I wanted, so I did like 3 or 4 different backgrounds until I finished mixing them all.

Se me hizo bastante complejo hacer la composición, busque algunas referencias de oficinas pero ninguna se amoldaba totalmente a lo que quería, así que hice como 3 o 4 fondos distintos hasta que termine mezclándolos todos.

Having already the image, I had to think about the atmosphere, I had thought about doing it at night with the city lights passing passively through the window, but then I thought of something warmer and ended up setting the situation in a sunset.

Ya teniendo la imagen construida, ahora tenia que pensar en la atmosfera, había considerado hacerlo de noche con las luces de la ciudad entrando pasiblemente por la ventana, pero luego pensé en algo más cálido y termine ambientando la situación en un atardecer.

As I had mentioned, I wanted each element in the illustration to tell something about the character, in my opinion Kan is the typical cynical politician with a hunger for power but quite cultured, so I placed two weapons and a katana that within the cyberpunk context would be some relics for their antiquity. I had also mentioned it in the previous post the fact that I put references from my country, among them is the painting located in the background which I did from scratch inspired by the turpiales taking flight; the lion's head pennants are part of the Kan insignia glimpsed on the tie in the reference image.
If we observe in the upper left area there is a sculpture of a dog, under it some trophies, and below them two portraits, one with Kan posing with a medal and the other with the framed medal. Finally, there are three books which have as titles "What happened to us Vol1 and Vol2" and "The double art of dying", the first refers to the history of humanity in that period of 100 years and the second is a Venezuelan literature book written by José Balza.
In the upper right area is the sculpture of a tipycal musical instrument a four in a contemporary cubist style made with metal, below there are two commemorations; in the third cubicle you can see a photograph of Kan and a scientist (who is part of this universe but I don't remember the name hehe) shaking their hands at the inauguration of the new laboratory; while the books that are observed at the end have the title "Philosophy", "The art of war" and "2021".

Como había mencionado, quise que cada elemento en la ilustración contara algo sobre el personaje, a mi parecer Kan es el típico político cínico y con hambre de poder pero bastante culto, por ello coloqué dos armas y una katana que dentro del contexto cyberpunk vendrían siendo unas reliquias por su antigüedad. También lo había mencionado en el post anterior el hecho de que metí referencias de mi país, entre ellas esta el cuadro ubicado en el fondo el cual lo hice desde cero inspirada en los turpiales tomando vuelo; los banderines con la cabeza de león son parte de la insignia de Kan vislumbrados en la corbata de la imagen de referencia.
Si observamos en la zona superior izquierda se encuentra una escultura de un perro, bajo él algunos trofeos, y debajo de ellos dos retratos, uno con Kan posando con una medalla y el otro con la medalla enmarcada. por ultimo se observan tres libros los cuales, tienen como títulos "Que nos pasó Vol1 y Vol2" y "El doble arte de morir", el primero hace referencia a la historia de la humanidad en ese periodo de 100 años y el segundo es un libro de literatura venezolana escrito por José Balza.
En la zona superior derecha se encuentra la escultura de un cuatro en un estilo contemporáneo cubista hecho con metal, abajo se encuentran dos conmemoraciones; en el tercer cubículo se puede observar una fotografía de Kan y un científico (que forma parte de este universo pero no recuerdo el nombre jeje) se dan la mano en la inauguración del nuevo laboratorio; mientras que los libros que se observan al final tienen como titulo "Filosofía", "El arte de la guerra" y "2021".

As for the last details on the screen that Kan observes, you can see some news that are part of Afterorder's history, among them are The explosion in the Scientist's Laboratory product of an experiment that went wrong and an announcement of "Wanted" for another character named Volk. To finish what Kan is drinking is Diplomatico, one of the best Venezuelan rums (I love how the bottle looks like). Hope you like it, it took me about 32 hours to finish it :D.

En cuanto a los últimos detalles en la pantalla que observa Kan se puede vislumbrar algunas noticias que forman parte de la historia de Afterorder, entre ellas se encuentran La explosión en el Laboratorio del científico producto de un experimento que salio mal y un anuncio de "Se busca" de otro personaje llamado Volk. para finalizar lo que esta bebiendo Kan es Diplomático, uno de los mejores rones venezolanos(amo como me quedo la botella)Espero les guste, me tomó aproximadamente 32 horas para finalizarlo.
