First few days of quarantine part 2
As mentioned previously work from home was not an option for us.
So our Team Leader tried to accommodate us in hotels and on sites. But I opted for a hotel since I have difficulty sleeping much more in a set-up not home like.
Since there were few employees who have not checked in when told I became a replacement tenant.
On the day of transferring I decided to check-in after my shift. Gladly my officemate decided to wait for me and accompany me to the hotel since we'll be staying at the same hotel.
However when I reached the hotel the person I replaced already checked in. That leaves me no room. Tried contacting my Team Leader but managers where out of reach. So I decided to go home and thought maybe it is a sign to just stay at home and not work.
So the next day I did not go to work anymore because I believed it's safer to stay at home.
It's been two months since I last reported for duty.
Thankfully we are still able to get by with some savings and usingy leave credits.
