Hello Steemians!
I will like to introduce to you a superheroine @geetharao, @firepowers mother.

Her name is Geetha Rao and She is from Mangalore, India! She is @firepower ’s mother or mother power as he jokingly calls her sometimes. She joined steemit 11 months ago. She wrote her introduction and had some help from her son in putting it on Steemit.

Her family and her education

She was born as the eldest daughter to a middle class family, and she had many duties at a very younger age. Her mother and father continually anticipated to look her name, in the first rank of her report cards, and she by no means disappointed them.
In her class x, she used to be the first in her college with a winner of Merritt scholarship and it became her dream became to do her postgraduates in mathematics and to move for a coaching job.

But as she was the eldest daughter in a joint circle of relatives, and they had her grandparents dwelling with them. on the time my dad changed into the only incomes member in their own family, and that she had to practice for a job whilst she was in the very last year of graduation. whilst she studied technology and maths in her college securing more than 90% marks,

Her working experience

She entered the banking enterprise to help her mother and father and labored in one of the country wide banks in India.
When her in-laws were hospitalized, because of their old age and health problems, her presence was much needed at home and hospital, and she had to take a voluntary retirement from her bank job earlier than she would have anticipated.
15 years later she continued to receive her pension, have pretty good savings, owning a beautiful home with a small garden and life is secure. She has a car and she love driving like her son who likes traveling to the corners of our country.

Her skills

Being the daughter of a well known artist, she too has carried out her grade assessments in painting. She really like painting landscapes, birds, and oil pics.

These are few of her artwork works. Similarly to this she really like tailoring... She studied tailoring in my school days, and was earning a quite appropriate income, by way of sewing uniforms, frocks and skirts to her pals and become supporting her own family financially and this additionally helped her with funds for college.
She also like writing since her school days. She has published a book about her father and his artwork 2 years ago and gifted it to him, on Father's day in 2015.

I got married to a person of my choice, he too was a banker. We lost him 3 years ago.

@firepower 's step dad is a very good loving soul. He is a great portrait artist in our region, who has so far painted more than 22000 portraits in a career spanning 50 years in addition to commercial art in the 80s. In fact he is my inspiration, my teacher, who taught me how to paint a portrait.

Her hobbies

She loves visiting temples and like vegetarian food. But, She can cook South Indian varieties of fish and chicken too(i think @firepower knows about this much). When she is alone at home, she sometimes loves listening to Punjabi music as it puts me her in a good mood. She also loves pets, especially cats, dogs and cows.

Mrs @geetharao is a very good writer. She is my role model. She loves to write about life, photography and many more. Sometimes she organises writing contest in which the winners get free upvotes. There are more to her than i know but i appreciate her optimism with such age.
