Crypto in the Netherlands

I've just got interested in cryptocurrencies at the beginning of this year and I spot the "Geertcoin" of the very known Geert Wilders. But also the "Putincoin". At this moment I'm interested in if the crypto coins are playing a role in the Netherlands. Does someone knows something about this?
And are there members of Steem in the Netherlands?
There must be someone...
