Anti Same Sex Marriage Resolution REJECTED by Hamblen, KY County Commission
It's not everyday that victories for the LGBTQ community come out of Kentucky - but we've recently had one of those days.
KnoxNews.com is reporting that the county commission in Hamblen County, Kentucky has rejected a resolution that would have condemned same sex marriage and urged state politicians to push back against the federal government on the issue.
The resolution would have been largely symbolic and intended as a form of protest against the US Supreme Court's decision to legalize same sex marriage across the country.
Sorry bigots, the tides are turning and if you don't like it, well nobody's forcing you to stay.
Keep it queer my sexy bitches.
