With a variety of beef meatball recipes, you can serve meatballs that are chewy, dense and fail-proof every time.
This time we will discuss several beef meatball recipes, starting from classic beef meatballs, tendon beef meatballs, to calf beef meatballs. Each recipe is accompanied by easy-to-find ingredients and clear steps for making it.
However, before we make something, we have to prepare the equipment, as I will explain later, we have to shop at the market for what we need to make something like making meatballs. We have to buy chilies, onions, flour and also the vegetables needed to make meatballs.
Chewy Beef Meatballs Recipe
Tip: To produce a beef meatball recipe that is chewy and dense, make sure the meat used is fresh, lean beef. Use ice cubes when processing the meat to keep the temperature cool, which helps the mixture stay soft and chewy. Apart from that, pay attention to the amount of sago flour and the kneading process evenly so that the texture of the meatballs doesn't fall apart easily when boiled. Make sure the cooking water does not boil too much to avoid the meatballs breaking.
Ingredients:
500 grams of lean beef
150 grams of ice cubes
1 tbsp fried garlic, crushed
1 tbsp fried shallots, puree
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 tsp salt
1 egg white
1/2 tsp ground pepper
100 grams of sago flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
How to make:
Clean the beef, cut it into small pieces, then puree it with a blender or food processor.
Add half the ice cubes, garlic and shallots, then grind until smooth. Add salt and grind again.
Add granulated sugar, ground pepper, egg white, sago flour and baking powder. Add the remaining ice cubes, then grind until smooth.
Make sure the mixture remains cold by gradually adding ice cubes until the meatball mixture is smooth and slightly pink in color.
Bring water to a boil in a pan, reduce the heat until the water does not boil. Shape the meatball mixture into balls, put them in the cooking water, do this until the mixture is finished.
After the meatballs float, increase the heat slightly and cook for approximately 5 minutes.
Prepare a container filled with cold boiled water (you can add ice cubes). Move the cooked meatballs into cold water so that the texture is chewier, then drain
