Listen, when I was 30, I looked myself in my rear view mirror as I was driving from New York to New Jersey and I said “You’re actions don’t map your ambitions.” … “Your behavior has to back up your words.”

You gotta love Gary Vaynerchuk and his raw, straightforward style of telling you how it is, and not just what you want to hear.

Hustle. Hard work. Commitment. Perseverance. Authenticity. And just being hungry for it.

These are just a few of the topics he goes over from time to time.

But my favorite always goes back to doing a "self audit" of ourselves and being 100% honest, and asking yourself:

Are your actions on par with your ambitions?

If you're taking massive action and you're on the way to attaining your short term goals, great. Keep doing what you're doing. But if you're being completely honest and your actions aren't anywhere close to your ambitions, then obviously some changes need to be made.

We get so caught up in the day to day grind that we tend to forget to stop and do a "self-inventory" of where we're at and where we need to be.
