Today's Sustainable Feast in the Garden of Eden
It is a bright and beautiful day in the Garden of Eden, and we are giving thanks for more than enough of everything in this abundant life of freedom!
While part of our crew was off melting minds, sharing the power of blockchain technology, and providing dank, sustainable, free food at the Medicine for the People gathering, we made a delicious feast for our full time volunteers on site at the Garden of Eden on our indoor wood burning stove. As usual, there was more than enough food for everyone, and we are happy to share our abundance with you!
We made a delicious Indian food feast!
We prepared basmati rice, curried chickpeas, chicken korma, sauteéed veggies, garlic naan bread, and a few condiments and invited everyone to eat as much as they cared to have.
We started with a colorful veggie sautée of carrots, cauliflower, peppers, onions and greens. This added bright flavor and lots of vitamins and minerals to our meal! We love plants and include them with every breakfast, lunch, and dinner we serve!
As a side dish, we offered fluffy basmati rice! This is a classic side dish for Indian food, and saucy curries pair wonderfully served over the top of it.
We made a spicy chickpea curry with lots of garam masala spice blend, coriander, onions, and garlic in a tomato sauce with lots of coconut oil. This is a vegan dish that is hearty enough to satisfy even our meat eaters!
We also prepared a chicken korma for our carnivores. This has lots of spices too, as well as a tomato based sauce with a little bit of creamy yogurt in it too.
We love Indian food, and these are classic main dishes! We served one of our staple condiments on the side with garlic and herbs in olive oil for plenty of tasty flavor and antimicrobial action.
We also served whole milk yogurt as another topping for our curries.
We prepared some wonderful naan breads for dipping and scooping, and added extra flavor with garlic and herbs on top.
It was a delicious dinner, and our volunteers were satisfied and happy to share the meal!
Thank you for sharing our sustainable feast with us today! 💖
Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food!
We do all of our cooking over fire, using wood that was otherwise destined to end up in a landfill! This is our indoor wood burning stove in action - it cooks our food, warms our communal space, and heats water for hot showers all at the same time!
Food is an honored & elemental part of our daily life in community. You can learn more about our unique, intimate, and super sustainable relationship with food here!

You're welcome
mmm fantastico all the dishes look exquisite, each preparation is seen that they did it with a lot of dedication and love. I love how those naan breads look like with garlic, I'm sure they must have an original flavor, personally I would add a little butter too, which is how it is eaten here in my country. Congratulations another wonderful day that ends in the Garden of Eden.
Thank you @alejo1996 <3
Love those naan breads they look delicious, they should put the recipe of those breads, I like to prepare bread, everything looks very delicious
Flat breads are quite easy to make, some have yeast or other leavenings but the simplest are just flour and water. We might post about this in the future.
that are very much known type of food which i eat, colorful, nutritious and want to join in this food feast.
We would love to share with you @abontikazaman!

Sir i am confused by your name because in our country their is a cricket ground named edengarden in kolkota.
So i found it similar.
Great name! WE're not associated with the cricket ground. We're a garden (and much more!) off of Eden Road in Kennedale, Texas
Thats great to hear sir.
