Nothing additional is required, we just change when the epsom salt is added to the mixture. Once the epsom salt is added, it becomes hygroscopic and begins absorbing moisture from the air. By mixing in the epsom salt in smaller amounts right before going to the garden we are able to always keep our Mittleider weekly feed fertilizer dry.
