The average last day of frost has passed and there are no nights with freezing temperatures in our extended forecast. It is time to take the next step in our videos on how to grow food like your life depends on it. Today we are getting some seedlings out to the garden and into our Mittleider soil beds.

The process for transplanting into Mittleider soil beds is much like transplanting seedlings into bigger containers. The difference here is that we will also apply a small dose of nitrogen, 1/4 ounce per linear foot of bed, and start the count down for our first application of weekly feed.
