Caught the swallowtail butterfly caterpillars red handed!

I was in the garden doing some (overdue) weeding and came across these two fellas. One was on the parsley and the other was on a dill plant. They're some pretty insects--nice to see some that aren't absolutely terrifying or creepy looking.

Speaking of creepy, I've discovered that stink bugs, which are everywhere down here, like to molt in the tall grass. They look like tiny ghosts and something about it just creeps me out. Oh well, at least they're not beating up on my cabbage and collards like those caterpillars are!
