Southern Highbush Blueberry - Emerald cultivar

One of the favorite and older varieties of Blueberries grown here in Florida is the Emerald cultivar. It was released by the University of Florida in 1999. [11] There are many other varieties, but Emeralds are the hardiest, and bear loads of tasty fruit. The only drawback is they need to pruned the hardest since they grow so vigorously. I created a time table schedule for taking care of blueberries in Florida and this will work with any variety.
