Birds Love It

Today I show you a shrub that we have largely disposed of.
It is a rowan bush that bears berries that are poisonous to humans and is also prickly as hell.
The berries are first white and later turn deep blue.
As a child, I remember how there were many bushes like this on the property and they were even used to grow around the terrace.
Sometime in the 90s they were dug up and replaced by other shrubs.
In the picture you can see a property boundary and there a rowan bush has reestablished itself.
It's time for a dig again.
