Ranju's hobby garden on the roof of the house is full of flowers and fruits
Large plastic and tin drums have been cut and planted on the roof of the three-storey house in two rows. Those trees bear fruits of different species including guava, malt, plum. There are also vegetable and flower trees.
Instead of chemical fertilizers, natural organic fertilizers and organic pesticides are used in that roof garden. In the last six years, his roof garden is now in full bloom.

He used to make organic manure by decomposing sandy loam soil and dung from different places and planted these trees. At present there are about 200 trees of 20 species in this garden.
Apart from native flowers like marigolds, roses and sunflowers, there are also exotic flowers of various species including xenia, dahlia and cynthia in Ranju's garden. The garden also has local fruits like guava, mango, papaya as well as exotic Maltese and Indonesian eye trees.
Malta is hanging in the trees. There are also white, guava, large, papaya. The mango tree has buds. Besides, the flowers include rose, gandharaja, yellow jaba, sunflower, marigold, nayantara and various other flowers. Cauliflower and pumpkin have been planted in the drum on the roof.
Many people including neighbors and relatives came to see the roof garden. Ranju also suggested them to do roof gardening. Ranju said that he got his wife's help in gardening. However, most of the time he spends his time in the garden. He advised everyone to have a roof garden to maintain the balance of the environment and prevent the young generation from going astray.
