2017: Week #7

Its been a busy week. I’m still sore from auguring holes for a deck. Lots of things really coming to life in the garden!

The storage spot for my potatoes happened to be along a outside wall. When the season warmed so did the storage spot. This caused my potatoes to sprout. Whoops! I’ll have to find a new storage spot or eat them faster next winter.

I am soaking my mushroom logs in order to help hydrate them and encourage them to fruit. I made a ‘tarp pool’ to hold the water around the logs.

I found this the other day. Scary looking bug. The chickens loved it.
