The Benefits of Starting a Garden
Everyone at some point in time says that they want to start a garden. Some get on it, and start working on the garden, and some don't and the talk about having a garden stays, well, talk. So, in this article we are going to explore some of the benefits of starting your own garden!

1. Improved Health
This is most likely a well know fact, but when you eat fresh vegetables, they are healthier for you! When you pick vegetables from your garden, they are going to be fresher than any store bought vegetables! When the vegetables are fresh, they have the most amount of vitamins, giving your body a boost!
2. Save Money
Even though there is an upfront cost to starting a garden, eating vegetables from your garden is actually cheaper than buying vegetables in-store! It's a win-win situation! You save money AND you eat healthier! Who knew?
3. Burn Calories
Believe it or not, planting vegetables, weeding, and watering plants in total can burn up to 400 calories an hour. That's almost twice as much as a CrossFit workout!
