Terratech is a indie game with a really good performance of the developers, I enjoyed a lot this game.
You start being a little copkit and you have to kill random vehicles for get more pieces for your own car :
when you have more then the car gradually become more stronger and bigger:

also you can do mission for unlock new tecnologies for be better car and later airplanes or just be a dinosaur:
