Sonic Dash
This official SEGA mascot is one of the most famous game characters and also still revived through remake-game remakes in various consoles including iPhone and Android.
With such fame, SEGA wants to modernize the franchise by turning it into a popular genre of the present era that is endless runner. I have high expectations of this game because Sonic is a character who was created to run and he should be the King of Endless Runner. But let's see if Sonic can win the title.
Gameplay
In Sonic Dash, of course you act as Sonic. For starters it is so but later you can open other characters like Tail or Knuckles by redeeming it with the coins you get. To play this game, the usual controls you find in endless runner games will still be used here.

Swipe to the right and left function to move between lines, there are 3 total paths. Swipe up to jump and swipe down to do typical Sonic traps. Swipe down can be a powerful weapon to kill the enemy.
In addition to collecting existing rings along the way, you will also encounter various obstacles such as the gap between separate platforms, the animals that confront and many dangerous objects such as the great nails of Sonic games.
Various elements of Sonic The Hedgehog can also be found here. Like the usual thrower you find in Sega games first. This thrower has different rewards and you can see the reward through the screen that is on the pelontar.
Usually 2 types of rewards that I often find is a safe to store all the rings you've collected before and also a robot dance that requires you to follow every swipe movement provided. Another Sonic element you will find is a rotating platform that contains coins along the way.
The coins you collect will fill a bar on the bottom right of the screen. When the bar is full, you can tap on the bar and soon Sonic will be sped up regardless of what objects are in front for a certain period of time.
If usually you will find many types of power ups in an endless game runner, but in Sonic Dash you will only find 2 types of power ups are head start and also revive token. While the 4 upgrades provided only serve to extend the bonus time (magnet, head start, dash boost, dash fill rate) you get.

Side missions are also provided such as killing 10 crabs by rolling or also collecting 50 thousand points in one go. Each time you successfully perform this mission then you will get exp used to level up, the more level up the multiplayer you also have. In addition you will also get the Red Star Ring which became the second currency in this game, can be used to buy characters and skip mission.
Presentation/Graphic
I can admit, the graphics used in Sonic Dash are very good. 3D environment is neatly arranged and detail with bright colors. Design platform is also not only flat straight but also there is a platform that spins, tilts and more. However I do not like UI presentation when I game over. Sonic Dash will always offer upgraded power ups that I should always close first if I want to try again.
The music that accompanies the game is not too special but still can be enjoyed to play this game over and over again. The overall presentation is quite good and functions as it should be.
Sound Effect
Music and Sound Effects (SFX) of this game has a typical rhythm and rhythm Sonic. Like many other Sonic games, the music is presented with fast and rhythmic music
Pricing & IAP
For an endless game runner this may seem rather expensive. Why? Because the core in an endless game is grinding as much as possible to get the ring. Sonic Dash you can download play store free.
For business IAP is also quite expensive. To buy 30 Red Star Ring the cheapest you just have to spend Rp 39,000. For comparison, Red Ring costs Rp. 39,000 is still lacking to unlock the Tails character that costs 45 Red Star Ring.
Conclusion
The thing I love about this game is the use of classic game elements in Sega first so it generates some exciting memories. But unfortunately the kind of upgrades and fewer power ups and also the price of games as well as the rather expensive IAP may be one barrier for fans of this character to play it. If you did not play the time on SEGA first then I can say this game is safe to miss, but if you are a Sonic fan in the golden era of SEGA.
