Dead Rising 4 is an enjoyable game that fans of the series will like. It delivers an amazing continuation to the Dead Rising story, and does it in a way that is both clever and funny. The fantastic open-world setting provides endless ways to kill hordes of zombies, with the many weapons you can create. Multiplayer is fun and the investigations and camera mechanics have been improved.

However, Dead Rising 4 offers no campaign co-op and very little in the way of new ideas. There are some occasional bugs and annoying glitches, while restrooms no longer act as save points, making it very difficult to save before quitting.
