What is Don't Starve?
Don't Starve is a action-adventure survival game, and was developed by Klei Entertainment. Don't Starve first released on April 23 2013, and later on other platforms.
Story
The game opens with Wilson a gentleman scientist, the game's main protagonist. Being tricked by a demon named Maxwell, the game's antagonist. Into building a machine, which will send Wilson into another world.
This is Wilson.
The main goal of the game is to survive, and to try and find a way out of this world. You can do this by not starving, keeping warm/dry and not overheating depending on what season it is in game.
This is the crafting menu. Here is where you craft stuff to help you survive.
Music; Sound, and visuals
All three of these make the game feel very unique, and it makes the game feel like a retro cartoon which that is great.
Final thoughts
I love Don't starve, even though its a survival game and there is a over saturation of these types of games right now. I think that with the game's unique style of presentation it is worth the time to play this game. You can get this game just about for any platform for the price of $15, and on ps4 right now you can get it for $6.
