Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator [Early Access Impressions]

in #gaming6 years ago

Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator is a game about keeping your little shop afloat in a Medieval world. Patrons will ask you for plenty of different items from the simple food stuffs, to the more complicated things that need to be created and crafted.

With the exception of a few things that I listed in the video below, it's a pretty good game. There's a lot to do to keep you busy in the day to day life and preparation, but once you fall into a rhythm, it's a fun experience.

The biggest issue I have is that the tutorial isn't all that great and the menus will get stuck on the screen in certain circumstances.

Other than that, I've had a pretty good time playing the game.

Disclosure: a copy of this game was sent to me free of charge.

Despite the idea of the game being a bit silly, I do feel that it might be quite a fun thing, thanks for sharing!
I've actually been doing some "historical" gaming posts lately, covering noteworthy games released in certain years (just made two about 93 and 2000) and I just feel that this game would work a lot better if adopted for a mobile platform.

It's possible that something like this could work for mobile if they cleaned up the UI a bit and fixed some of the glitchiness.
