10 of the Best Steemit Tech and Game Blogs to Watch in 2018!
There is a huge Technology & Gaming community on the Steemit Platform and I want to highlight some blogs you should be watching in 2018.
I have been blogging for a few months now and have somewhat of a good reputation among the gaming and technology community within the Steemit platform. I have made many friends, and seen excelent content from each of them. But the amount of quality work that goes unnoticed is very high. So to remedy this I thought I would highlight my favourite blogs that I believe deserve much more recognition, as well as some other blogs that are just plain Awesome.
1 - @Rerez
Shane is the man behind the this retro gaming blog, from mini arcade games, to old handhelds, to emulators and retro consoles, he is quite possibly the best retro gaming blog on Steemit at present. He has been on Steemit for less than a year, despite this, he has a huge reputation and constantly pumps out fantastic content. I can see this blog only getting better in 2018.
2 - @xyzposter
This chap is fairly new to Steemit, only being a member since December. His reputation has grown dramatically in such a short time. He has a big presence in various discord channels and interacts often with many members of the Steemit community. I would describe him as an audiophile. As his system is described as a digital audio workstation, with some impressive equipment. I see great things for him over the next year.
3 - @c0ff33a
If you want to know how to grow your steemit account, look no further. Aside from his love of Coffee. (he is a wholesaler of coffee) he does dabel with some tech hardware, he has bloged his impressive PC build which i found to be very entertaining. But he is best known for giving advise on how to improve your own blog as he has been searching endlessly on different methods on how to do so.
4 - @free999enigma
This blog is all about gaming, from the retro to todays triple A titles. There are various blogs about specific games and gameplay, but he delvs more into the industry by asking the questions no else thinks to ask, like... ''what happend to point and click adventure games?'' or... '' What happend to the RTS genre?''. The blog is a good mix of what the gaming industry is becoming and what it once was.
5 - @xr-hammergaming
This channel is forever producing some excellent content, but does not get any of the attention it deserves. Most of his content is based on Dtube, but everything is available through his blog. Gaming is somewhat of a passion in this blog, and from watching the various videos, it is easy to see why. The are some of the best videos around and are always a good laugh. Keep up the good work dude. Your time will most definitely come in 2018.
6 - @techblogger
This is just an awesome blog. From cryptocurrency to AI to what technology is happening around the world. Each and every post is immaculate and always a great read. They are very active with their fan base and regularly interact with the community on every single post of there own and other peoples posts too. If you want to know what is new in the technology world, you need to follow techblogger. I can not wait to see what they post over the next year.
7 - @geekclub
This is a very underappreciated blog that deserves so much more recognition for the excellently presented posts they produce on a daily basis. Although the blog is more cosplay and anime, there are a few posts about gaming to be seen, not to say the rest are bad, they are all as good as each other. Well presented and quality work. Go ahead and follow them and keep an eye out for there daily posts. You may be surprised. Woman cosplay,, yeah, every bloke should be following.
8 - @grownfolksgaming
Another awesome gaming blog. The content is always a fun read, and the videos are even better to watch. So much time and effort goes into each post they make, and it is a crying shame they don't get the recognition they deserve. They post a broad range of posts that include PC, PlayStation, and Xbox gaming (among others) but also reviews some peripherals and hardware too. Hopefully they should grow substantially in 2018.
9 - @gaming-trail
if you ever wanted to know what is happening in the world of gaming, then you should be following this blog. If you wanted news on what upcoming games are being released and when, to Donald Trumps gaming habits, this channel has it all. Almost like a news channel on cable, but every post has a connection to the world of gaming and tech. It is a brilliant blog and each video is awesome.
10 - @Deeviras
Off course I was going to include Dee in this list. She is a fairly new member of Steemit, but is gaining a lot of attention thanks to her blogging about her modelling career. Aside from that, dee tends to post a lot about in game activities, and each story is great fun to read. She also posts about herself and some self help, but they are all equally awesome to read. I can't wait to see what will happen in 2018 for her.
That is a round up of the 10 blogs I will be keeping a close eye on during 2018, and you should too. They each have massive potential. So give each of them a follow and interact with them.

This is exactly the type of content I'm looking for.
I've recently begun posting my gaming podcast here on Steemit, but it's been hard to find quality content to follow, since "gaming" is not one of the default hashtags.
But now I'll have my filled up with gaming content in no time.
Thanks a lot :-)
no worries dude. don't forget my blog, i also post alot about gaming, usually top 5's.
I honestly don't know what to say to this mate. It's great to be noticed. You wrote some very kind words, much more than I deserve 😃I don't feel anywhere near good enough to be up on here with some of these guys as writing Isn't my strongest suit. But the fact that some people are finding some enjoyment In my videos makes me beyond happy.
There are a few people who consistently support me on here and you @techmojo are one of them. Thanks you so much
no worries dude.
😃😃😃
Thanx for the honorable mention! I think it is officially time to set aside my meme posts and focus on better content. Certainly gonna check the other ones out too and keep an eye on you XD!
Thank you very much for including me in this, especially in with such an excellent range of content creators. I was following a few already but have been down the list and followed the rest - looks like a great selection from the tech based posters. You found a super picture of me to use from one of my past blogs as well lol.

your very welcome.
I love this idea of highlighting good accounts to follow. One of my gripes about Steemit right now is that it's a lot of work to find people making the type of content I want to see.
i tend to agree. maybe as the platform becomes more popular, some additions may be added to improve our experience on here and to filter out all the crap. who knows. but the best we can do for now is to highlight those we believe are worthy of our time.
@techmojo you never cease to amaze me, this post is fantastic and i almost feel we are not worthy of your kind words. let's make 2018 a brilliant year for us all.
lets hope it only get better buddy.. 2018 is looking like its gonna be a good year for us all.
I have seen you have included the Steemit green logo in your post. I just have read today this article and I think you would want to read it too. I keep thinking if I will add this logo to any of my posts or not from now on...
its ok to use it under the public fair use policy. steemit logo, used under the steemit platform is fair game. using outside of this platform can be a problem, but if it is found under a google search then it is in the public domain and free to use.
¡Buen post! .. También te seguiré, sígueme y nos ayudamos unos a otros ... agradecería una votación en mi último post gracias
