Play Game Crysis 3 : Deadly Arrow Keys (Rain Bullets and Fighting Enemies)
If we call one thing that is identical with the name Crysis so far, then the visual quality has always been one of the selling points that can not be separated from it. Hit the game industry through CryEngine extraordinary, Crysis first it must be admitted to have shocked the game industry itself. Before its emergence, there has never been a game that made even the strongest platform to bow to surrender. But unfortunately, the development process based on the quality of the console makes the series both not as good as imagined, leaving the disappointment and criticism of many loyal fans. Something that Crytek is trying to fix in this third series.
Long before its release, Crytek indeed claimed many things for the third series which was positioned as the end of this trilogy, from the presence of some old characters, gameplay changes, to the most important - its effort to achieve visual supremacy back. To make sure this happens, they will change the concept of development that is in the second series based on the console, back to the lap of PC. Did it work? Of course. The best setting offered by Crysis 3 will make most of the strongest PCs screaming frantically. You who had read our preview before of course already have a little picture of the visual quality like what he has to offer.
So, is this the only selling point he offers? Or is Crysis 3 still holding a myriad of other charms? JagatPlay will discuss it more deeply through this review.
Most of you who could play Crysis 2 and finish it may be confused by what actually happened between the Prophet and Alcatraz. Is not Prophet already killed in the second series, why is he back to the main character in this third series? The prophet did provide his nanosuit for Alcatraz in the second series and was killed, but in the end, all the memory and credentials stored in the nanosuit were synchronized and "took over" the Alcatraz figure. As a result? The Prophet is "reborn" in the body of Alcatraz, while Alcatraz's own consciousness as an individual vanishes. Therefore, you find the Prophet back.
His intense intersection with Ceph technology during the second series brought the Prophet aware of one thing, the existence of Alpha Ceph - a major Ceph race that remains the world's greatest threat. Along with his other comrade, the Prophet traces and attempts to destroy Alpha Ceph, but unfortunately is subdued by the CELL military group. Not just losing, all the Prophet's companions who still have the nanosuit are also hulled, minimizing the threats that might arise for CELL's future domination plan. But fortunately, the uniqueness of the nanosuit owned by the Prophet made him "congratulated" from this heartbreaking process. The prophet was held in an EMP tube and exiled. Fortunately, former Nanosuit users like Psycho still struggle to save him.
24 years after the last event in Crysis 2, Psycho finally succeeded in rescuing the Prophet from the hands of CELL. But the world has changed. Instead of being threatened by the Ceph invasion, the world is now facing the energy greed and monopoly being carried out by CELL, making it the world's most powerful organization and company. The Prophet had to deal with a different world, including the now devastated city of New York and shrouded in a dome that CELL claimed to protect residents from the Ceph-Nanodome onslaught. A battle of interest ensued. The newly conscious Prophet still survives with his mission to seek and destroy Alpha Ceph, while Psycho sees CELL as a greater threat and makes the Prophet the only reliable weapon. The Prophet finally agreed to help destroy CELL and make System X - CELL's primary energy source the main target. But what happened? Exploration of System X actually helps the Prophet bring it into the deep mystery of the existence of Alpha Ceph.
So what exactly is CELL stored in System X this? Can Prophets find Alpha Ceph and destroy it, or will it continue to be trapped in the fight against CELL dominance? What is the end and conclusion of the battle for these three series? All the answers to this question can be found by playing this one game.
One that makes it quite different is the presence of Predator Bow, a deadly weapon that supports the range aspect for gamers who rely on stealth playing styles.
If we discuss the mechanism of gameplay offered by Crysis 3, not much has changed. You will still be fixated on a simple FPS game that will ask you to move from one point to another, finish off all the enemies, and try to survive. There are a myriad of weapons you can use, whether you pick up from CELL soldiers or Ceph weapon technology that is stronger but unfortunately, slower with a very limited quantity of ammo. As for its own nanosuit function, the Prophet still has a chance to access the same power - Cloak to disappear and Armor to provide extra defense against the same bullet. Nanosuit also still allows Prophet to move super fast and strong.
So what makes Crysis 3 is much different? As if falling on the mainstream trend that is currently flowing in the game industry, Crytek also injects arrow and bow weapons for Prophet in this latest series. Sounds absurd? Take it easy, this arrow is not an ancient weapon that might look embarrassing when juxtaposed with CELL and Ceph weapons are increasingly destructive. The Bow Predator is an arrow strong enough to load the throwing energy that a tremendous Prophet nanosuit can make, capable of penetrating any armor. Not to mention the Prophet can also replace the end of this arrow to produce certain effects, such as electricity and explosion. The best part? It does not prey on Prophet energy at all.
The prophet can also replace this bow tip with other arrows to produce a certain effect. Example? Arrows with electric arrows to paralyze the enemy who was in the water.
In the past, the cloak function for the Prophet nanosuit was more widely used to avoid dangerous threats or to simply neutralize threats that can indeed be subjected to melee. But in Crysis 3, the stealth game style grew more varied thanks to the presence of this Predator Bow. Unlike other weapons that will "prey" the Prophet energy when used in stealth mode, Bow does not create any consequences like this. You can use it in this mode freely and make it the spearhead to support a stealth style that is certainly safer. But remember, the arrows that you can carry are really limited, only 9 pieces. Make sure every arrow is launched when you feel you're going to have a life uprooted, and make sure you pick up every single arrow. That is the secret of maximizing the powerful Bow!
But unfortunately a thousand dear, maximizing the style of stealth game is actually "destroyed" by Crytek's decision to inject AI is too sensitive to the sound, even up to the absurd limit. What is the meaning of a melee kill and a slowly moving arrow if it keeps the consequences of making enemies around your target, even at a considerable distance always aware and ending alert. Instead of killing all enemies quietly, your cloak and Bow Predator abilities are more often used to defend themselves when engaged in frontal combat, both against Cell and Ceph. Fortunately, despite the sensitivity to his incredible voice, the AI of the various enemies you face can be defeated by a certain strategy.
Fortunately, the basic open-world gameplay Crysis is still retained in this third series. You still have the freedom to do whatever you need, from running to fighting all out to achieve the mission.
Although not as massive as most open world first person games, Crysis 3 still maintains its gameplay foundation on this one. Objectives do look very clear and are shown through a direction indicator indicating where you should go. But how do you go there? It's still a decision and freedom for your own game style. Passing through alternate roads, decisions to fight or flee from every enemy you encounter, or take side missions in advance that sometimes show up? All these ways and steps depend on your decision and your ability to run them.
What is the meaning of throwing a visualization to spoil the eye but not being able to maximize it for the right game atmosphere? Through dramatic epic and extraordinary setting design, Crytek managed to do that in Crysis 3. Dramatization with slow and explosive motion and New York looks that no longer a forest makes Crysis experience quite unique than the previous series. Crytek also adds some elements of the new game through the presence of driving features, although not felt significant.
Modified Nanosuit - Emphasize Exploration
Various upgrades that you can wear if you collect the required points. But not active at the same time, you can only activate four of them simultaneously.
As with Crysis in the previous series, you also have the opportunity to strengthen the nanosuit being worn by the Prophet. However, the mechanism is no longer as simple as killing Ceph and taking the point to modify existing weapons and armor. You are now emphasized to explore the vastness of New York to get the essential items needed to ensure that they can be realized. How to do it? Easy, Rely on your flagship visor.
By pressing a certain button, the Prophet can use his visor to better observe the surrounding environment and tagging to get crucial items like ammo, charger for Ceph weapons, scattered arrows, to the point - special items that can be used to improve Nanosuit capabilities. This item will contribute to the point that will serve as the currency to unlock certain Nanosuit capabilities. Be sure not to rush to complete any existing missions and take the time to at least look for this crucial upgrade.
Unlike the previous series, too, you will not be allowed to use all the upgrades you have purchased together in one use. You are only equipped with four modification slots that will force you to choose which of the most crucial upgrades to use. But be cool, they also inject a shortcut that allows you to change the combination of customization modifications instantly. Undoubtedly, this mode allows you to create a more adaptive Prophet for all kinds of situations.
Multiplayer, How Good?
You who had tested the open beta Crysis 3 of course has a little picture of what is offered by this multiplayer game mode this one. A similar atmosphere is also offered by the full version version, of course with a variety of extra content that never materialized in previous demo versions: folders, weapons, designs, to new game modes. Through a simple interface, you will not be difficult to find the specific room you want. Some of the game modes that are present in the "unique" name are basically improvements of some of the same multiplayer modes that franchisees have offered in the past. In the end, we're more choices in modes that allow fast and brutal massive battles: unique Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Crash Site, and Hunter.
Visually visual, this may be the first impression you get when playing Crysis 3, especially if your PC is powerful enough to run it in the most visual quality. You will be faced with an open-world world full of action that pamper the eyes. On the side of the gameplay, the presence of Predator Bow into its own added value, especially for gamers with a game style that is more stealth-oriented since the presence of Crysis in the past. It offers a more varied experience, although admittedly, less than perfect. The complexity to build the required nanosuit also adds value, especially to force you to explore each chapter.
But unfortunately a thousand dear, Crysis 3 just seem to "sell" this graphic side only. There are so many flaws that deserve to be recorded beyond the ability of CryEngine 3 to keep your eyes constantly amazed at what you see on the screen. Regardless of the mystery that circled the two previous series, Crytek impressed hastily to finish the Prophet adventure in this third series. The result? You are faced with a cliché plot full of "holes" that are not strong enough, even seem cliche. The enemy's AI sensitivity to sound is also a record, undermining the potential for a stealth experience that should be better developed. The worst part? Crytek as if half-developed a multiplayer mode that he offers. His status as a gigantic game that has not even a month old must be tinged with the findings of cheating we face.
Of the advantages and disadvantages that exist, Crytek seems to sacrifice so much to pursue visualization supremacy for Crysis 3. He must be recognized is the FPS game with the best visualization at this time, but that's the only selling point. In gameplay, this game does not offer significant innovation enough to keep you interested, not even special. Therefore, it is not excessive if we call it a game that is positioned as a showcase of visual ability. There's nothing wrong with Crysis 3, but there's nothing special about it. It's a visual showcase !.
