In One-Player Mode, there is a choice to choose either Rick or Allen. In Two-Player Mode, Player One will play as Rick, whilst Player Two will play as Allen.

Double Dragon seemed to make a look that lots of games copied very well. Jaleco looked like they took how Capcom did with Final Fight and copy pasted.
Are you referring to the Neo-Geo Double Dragon? If so, then I do see some similarity though. The beat-em-up Double Dragon is a classic by itself. Final Fight is unique in its own way. Overall, I do not disagree with your statement though.
I meant the classic NES actually. I didn't intend to oversimplify and deny that all these games do probably have their own individual merits and advances in gaming, because I can't say every side scroller is a Mario clone. I guess maybe it was the streets look and being about mob or gang on the streets stuff felt similar on top of beat em up style.
