PASSION FOR MY OLD GAME CONSOLE!!!
I am a strong lover of games from different consoles as we use to call the back then: 8bit(microjuniors ), sega mega drive and of course the super nintendo console(snes).
Those games i got so fascinated about are Ultimate Mortal Kombat and Donkey Kongo games played with the super nintendo Console. Friends and fellow steemians, i so much love playing these games that sometimes i became strongly engrossed in the game that i will play it from morning till late noon without remembering that i had not taking anything, this is what usually happen in most cases not until mum who sometimes come around in the afternoon to help us out, biting us with her canes and have us punished lucking up the snes console for a week or more, this really got us boys at home so mad. But this didn't stop us from coming with one strategy or the other to get back on our games.
I will like to talk about these specific games we the boys at home enjoyed playing:
- ultimate mortal kombat
- donkey kong
these two games were mind blowing especially the MK. Let me 1st talk about Ultimate Mortal Kombat.
I'm so drawn to this particular game UMK so much so that if a day passes without me not playing it i just cant fill completely good for that day. UMK is one of the game i see as that which u had to be more sensable, more calculating, be quick to understand and be smart to read every move of your opponent. For instance if ur opponent player using "Jax" is about jumping towards u the other payer using "Jade", understanding and calculations will tell u that u should be preparing to give Jax ur opponent an uppercut( a blow with the fixt from bottom upward.
Another thing i find so captivating, is about the fast combo or hits u does with the controller . If u which to complete hits or combos with a particular combatant, u have to push about 8botton which are pressed repeatedly with different fighters with their unique hit or combos and they are being done in different ways. This alone really stares my indulgence in the game, Not to talk of other features like: brutality, fatality, and bability e.t.c...
There is lots more to talk about on this but these are the few i will like to talk about for the main time.
let me still talk a little about another game i still love best..... The Donkey Kong, which we normally called DK.
Donkey Kong is an adventure snes game, though it does not have this 3D and Hd graphic display we do see in most current games today but the graphics was very much still OK i do enjoy the vegetation, forest,river, cloudy and other wonderful graphic background used and also the way u go about the mission unraveling new stages and more mind blowing features. This really want me not to let go of the game when ever i'm on it. Sometimes in Africa particularly in my country we do experience power outage and when this happens that becomes another reason we just had to let go our supernintendo controllers and take a nap eagerly anticipating the return of power.
Those were my wonderful experience while growing up as a games lover and i will love it if more of those old junk games are more incorporated by our game writers and programmers in our modern devices, consoles as well as bring a step up on their graphics and embracing it old technique and style of control system. This of course will bring a greater and wilder range of user friendly in the gaming world at large.
