Hello Steemit! This is my first ever post here and I'm really excited to show you guys what me and my close friends have been working on! I'm sure all of you are familiar with Minecraft, as well as roleplaying communities, but likely haven't witnessed them together. (at least in a meaningful way.)

Acheron's map, builds, lore, and ideas have been the product of a few great people and many helping hands who wished to start their own adventure; a new Minecraft roleplay server designed for everyone. Our goal since the beginning was to create something new for us to experience all of the best parts of Minecraft, and to carry on the good times and great roleplay/storytelling which united us in the first place..

Made by an old friend Jamziboy, we are very happy with the terrain found on this beautiful map! Roughly 5500k by 5500k blocks of epic landscapes ranging from vast swampland to rocky cliffs and rugged hillsides. You won't believe the mountains! They're absolutely stunning and beg to be adorned with epic castles or abandoned keeps, many will be found scattered across the peninsula.

The story of Acheron takes place on the Cervarian Peninsula, a land with deep history of war and division amongst several factions and races. Even since the humble beginnings and settlement of Cervaria there has been unresolved conflicts over the riches and opportunities within. It's up to the players to chose their own stance among the roleplay and politics between the different factions and races of Acheron; forging their own stories and making this world their own.

It's our goal to construct a clean slate for potential roleplayers to make their own personal stories and achievements among the underlying story arc of this world. In future updates and posts you can expect me to go into the different factions and races as well as their unique lore aspects and builds/points of interest pertaining to them.

We have already built and developed so much of this world and there is plenty of content to share with you all. However this is intended just to be a brief introduction to see if anyone's interested in seeing what we have. Expect many screenshots, tours, and explainations of important buildings and points of interest across the map as we continue to develop.
