Frostpunk Sellers 250,000 Copies in First Three Days on Steam

Frostpunk, the latest city-building survival game to hit the market, has sold over 250,000 million copies on Steam within the first three days of being released.

Developed by This War of Mine developer 11 bit Studios, the frozen city-builder shifted a quarter of a million copies in just 66 hours and sales look set to continue as the game has a 86% "Very Positive" rating on Steam.

As a result of selling so many copies in a short space of time, developer 11 bit have stated that they will be executing their pans for expansion which will also include a number of free updates for the game.

In Frostpunk the player takes control of the last surviving city in the world during a devastating ice-age. It's the players job to make tough decisions to keep their city alive and to stockpile enough supplies to survive the upcoming storm which sees temperatures drop even further!
