I was going to do something about cuphead but everyone has already done that so it be silly for me to chime in. I do not even have cuphead as a game.

Overgrowth

This game though I do own and I got it for extremely cheap
1.00 I got it with a bundle of cool games that I picked up a while ago.
I felt like I ripped the guy off for his hard work. I will tip him later in the future for his endeavours. He and a few other people have been crafting this game for 10 years and they deserve support for the game.

I wish more game developers would put this amount of time into a game with perfecting it I think it would lead to more fun experiences.

What is overgrowth?
You know dark souls how you can roll around and you attack enemies and they have specific patterns? Throughout darksouls you walk through a area that is instanced the enemies are placed in the same place This is kinda like that but instead of it being slow paced and limited on attack combos you can free form martial art attacks against a enemy. It is not a rpg nor is there any instanced places. The game plays how you want to play it. The enemies react to each attack weaving back and forth while you attack. The enemies will use the environment around them. And you can use the environment around you as well. Enemies can parry and knock your weapon out of your hand and they can pick it up and attack. I might not agree with the creepy realistic animal design in the game but that is a minor complaint. It is a unique style to a game. This I believe stands out in a industry of military shooters. If you want to kungfu fight as a bunny then this is the game for you.

Another game that I can think of that had this type of gameplay was the matrix game on PS2 if anyone remembers that?

The AI do not hesitate to try to destroy you.

Wonky Animations but Satisfying Martial Arts

After being in development for such a long time they finally made the game into a beta right before a final release. Some fans are like noooooo I want them to tweak this game forever others have a lot of relief. The game got a nice overhaul in the graphics section and it looks really polished looking at this trailer From the trailer it seems like they down tuned the wonkiness of animations. Also some pushing enemies into fire will burn them so you have even more control of what you can do to eliminate enemies!
