Anthem! The new game by Bioware.

Have any of you been paying attention to E3 and saw the game play trailer for Biowares new game Anthem. If you haven't check it out. This is going to be the game of to watch out for.
This game is slated to be released the fall of 2018 and Bioware has been working on this since they finished Mass Effect 3. That is 10 years that they have been working on this game. EA Worldwide Studios Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund had this to say in a press release.
“Our developers at BioWare have been creating something special.We’re pushing Frostbite to new heights, developing a game unlike anything EA has ever made before. We’re telling a new story, creating a social, co-operative experience, and putting it in a contiguous open world that is dynamic and will be ever-changing for years to come.”
Anthem is a third person shooter MMO. It is also a loot based shooter similar to Destiny, so if you are a fan of Destiny you are sure to enjoy this.
From what I have seen looking at the trailers there is no classes in this game. It is all based on your suit or Javelin as they are called. The skills and abilities seem based on the customization of your Javelin. You also are able to fly and who doesn't like to be able to fly around.
The scenery and world is just jaw dropping. The world is fully open and leaves many unique areas to explore. There is enemies and wildlife through out the world ensuring that you always have something too keep you on your toes.
Unfortunately there is not to much information on this game at this time but based on the footage that I have seen so far I am excited to see what else this game has to offer. An official description of the game is as follows.
“Anthem is a shared-world action-RPG, where players can delve into a vast world teeming with amazing technology and forgotten treasures. The world is also filled with savage beasts and ruthless marauders where Freelancers are called to defeat the forces plotting to conquer humanity.
In Anthem, up to four friends can unravel the world’s mysteries and take on its most fearsome challenges together. Shared danger means shared glory, and successful Freelancers will all be richly rewarded for successful exploits. Throughout their adventure, players can outfit their Freelancers with powerful Javelin exosuits, each of which are equipped with unique weapons and abilities. Players can also customize their Javelin with gear they earn and craft throughout the adventure, and leave a lasting mark on the world.”
I am sure this is going to be an amazing game and something that will keep me entertained for hours on end.

Bio ware has gotten my hopes up before. They have some amazing games. But, they've over hype a few here and there too. Their cinematics are always great. But, sometimes it's at the expense of gameplay. I hope it's good.
Well from what i've heard this is from bioware Edmonton which did the first 3 mass effects and not montreal which did andromeda. Just looking at some of the developers i am thinking this may turn out very well. Hopefully as the release date gets closer we see more game play and get a better idea of how its going to be.
Lets not forget that Bioware Edmonton also gave us Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and KOTOR. This is almost certainly going to be a better production than Mass Effect: Andromeda.
KOTOR was awesome. The original is available on the iPad now. I love that game.
I agree with you there. I am expecting great things based on there previous games but we wpnt know until it actually comes out.
