That reminds me of the Weinstein scandal. Sure, there were some victims, sadly, but now everyone was abused, boo hoo? Why didn't they press charges when they weren't, you know, filthy rich and famous actresses thanks to taking advantage of the "opportunity"? Just turn and walk away, there are more jobs in the world?

That's the way to put it. But hey, poor famous, dirty rich actresses who couldn't sleep at night for decades in their palaces and drive their luxury cars around, thinking about the "abuse". Blargh, press charges when it happens or just shut up already.

Nothing wrong with rich people. And I don't think it's fine to abuse them either. But they weren't forced into sucking dick. They did it to advance their career. Nothing wrong with that, they offered the service, and they got payment for it. But they chose to do so, so they can fuck right off when claiming "abuse".
I'm sure the people of Canada are generally nice people. But #notall works both ways. Not all are nice people, some are malevolent, and some (probably most that subscribe to this) are just duped by the nice wording of their censorship / compelled speech.
In those cases, sucking dick = stable career and wealthy payments, and that is what to me takes away all the sympathy I could have for them. When poor people complains, there isn't be a #metoo thing going on.

I have 0 sympathy for actresses that sold their body for money, because that is not abuse. If they'd been raped, sure, then the rapist can hang... I'll gladly support their execution. But they gave sexual services for money and fame. It's a consensual transaction, both parties got something they wanted. You don't like it now? Tough shit! You agreed to it then, you feeling ashamed now is not my problem whatsoever. #metoo is just a whorehouse... obviously #notall, surely there's some actual victims in that movement, here and there. But a movement you will not hear about is #120db, because it's german women complaining about being gang raped by "refugees", and we can't have that "islamophobia" and "racism".
And regarding Canada, I still think most people are good people. But most people have no idea about this. Or just know what the media feeds them and think that feminism and shit are some nice things, when in fact they're limiting free speech, and even compelling speech. I can't even get on the refugee crisis. On one hand, they're human beings; on the other hand, "humans" usually include barbarians amidst them.
In my opinion, the world is becoming too small for so many people, and the clash of cultures can be a good thing, but also causes terror. WW3 surely isn't too far off, don't see it getting any better. Too many shady interests behind all of this, especially from the leaders of most countries.
Nomal folks don't have anything against helping refugees. But full open borders is retarded. Check them, and admit those that fit with the culture. And better yet, send people in their areas and build schools there. Importing millions is definitely not a good way to go about this. And frankly, As much as I would care about them, I care more about my family and friends. If I do have to chose, I'll dump the refugees every time.
