Fallout 76: Tick Blood Farming
How do you farm Stimpaks? How do you farm Glowing Blood Packs? How do you farm Blood Packs? All simply answered with, farm ticks on Fallout 76.
Although Stimpaks and other medical recipes come over time, it's important to get familiar with some Tick Blood farming earlier on. What better of a way than adding it to your list of first things to do when leaving Vault 76.
Location: Moonshiner's Shack
After spawning at Vault 76, run south down the hill towards Moonshiner's Shack. Here you'll be finding (2-4) Tick Blood a run. There's also a chance of spawning in recipes as well near the campfire.
After you clear the location, hop servers, run up the hill, rinse and repeat. This location seems to be the best and most consistent I've found during my travels, especially since there's a Chemistry Bench inside one of the shacks.
Crafting
Before crafting any chems, it's a must to put on the Chemist Perk which only costs (1) Intelligence after level 34 for double the crafting of any chems. After level 50 Super Duper Rank 3 for (3) Luck will give you a 30% chance of receiving double the results when crafting which is nice and worth it over time.
After a few runs, I had saved up 10 Tick Blood and was ready to craft some chems
Luckily, with the Super Duper Perk I was able to craft a few extra Blood Packs.
Glowing Blood Pack
Another very useful item you'll want to farm out later on are the Glowing Blood Packs. They provide +75 Rad Resistance for 10 minutes, which is extremely helpful in Nuke Zones.
Location: Dolly Sods Wilderness
I would say that this is the only other location I've found that Ticks spawn in more consistently. (Usually 2-4) If for some reason you're not noticing them when spawning in be sure to search the area, they tend to get spread out on some servers.
Be sure to check near the buildings as well as tents.
Other Locations
Ticks sometimes spawn near Camp McClintock, near the training courses, but not a reliable source of Tick Blood.
Ticks rarely spawn near the guarded entrance to The Whitespring Resort, across from the Station, also not a reliable source of Tick Blood.

Yea. 76 has been getting roasted online. Makes me hesitate now. Lucky for me I rarely ever buy my games on release anyway. Still I might try that new Far Cry. I heard it's post apocalyptic too and Far Cry is your jam.
I'm loving Fortuna on PC, but I'm a just a Vigilante Gunsman of the Plains of Eidolon. I get recked by the Profit Takers and orbs. It's like taking a Cowboy from Texas and dropping him in a scrap in Russia. It kind of puts Railjack in perspective now. We Tenno can't stop all the Corpus from beaming down to Venus on top of the roaming enemy class. Nef Anyo has to much money and benefactors involved. I can't wait to take it the fight to the sky.
