Power of the manticore
The manticore is a really powerful card in the Splinterlands game. Have you heard of Splinterlands?
Well, if you have not heard of it, it is time to hop in and start discovering the magical land of the monsters.
There is a small video down below which will give you a sample of what you are getting in to; the exciting universe of the monsters.
The manticore is the theme of the week put up by the moderators and let me tell you, they always choose the right ones. The purpose behind choosing a card each week is to let players experiment with it and learn along the way and also to teach other players what they have learned or experimented with.

Choosing the right team
It is imperative that you have to choose the right team. One card that is not placed right could spell doom and so you must take the time allotted and place the monsters in the right position. As for the manticore, it is always right to place it in the second position where it can use its abilities to the maximum.
You might be thinking that all cards are powerful, so how does one card help?
Well, each card is special and contribute to the team's success. After all, it is indeed a team effort. One card that is not right can steer the summoner away from a win and a wrongly placed card too can bring about failure. So, make sure you place your cards in the right position.
Manticore in action
I hope you enjoy watching the battle. Please use this opportunity to start playing and did you know that you can play for free too? Do let me warn you that it is really addicting.
I usually use the manticore whenever I choose the dragon splinter. This is a card I chose to buy and did not wait to get it as a reward. When I read that the manticore was this week's challenge, I was ready to use it more than ever and even tried to record it from my mobile but also found a program to record it from the PC itself and this helped me to share it easily to YouTube.
The manticore card should be used only in the second position so as to make use of its maximum abilities. At level five, it gains the thorn ability too and I do mean to level it up soon.
If you really love to play Splinterlands game, you must not forget to level up this particular card because it is indeed very powerful with its 'reach' ability, flying ability and thorns.
This video is a screen recording of the mobile version of the Splinterlands game. As you see, I have chosen an avatar. If you like, you can log in through the mobile version and choose an avatar for yourself.

Hey! Congrats on getting onto 3Speak!
In the future, while it's great to upload your battles to other platforms you can always share the battle link directly from Splinterlands.com. When you do this your referral link is connected (in case someone decides they want a piece of the action). Alternately, you could share your referral link (which directs to the front page of Splinterlands, rather than your battle). I'd do both. 😉
Also, for THIS CHALLENGE ONLY ( the battle one), to recieve an upvote you need to share your steem/hive post to an OUTSIDE social media site. (Like Twitter or Facebook).
And finally, if you could answer some of the suggested questions in the post then your potential blog viewers would get more out of it (value-wise).
The point of this challenge is to get us all interacting and learning from each other AND bringing new folks in to play with us.
Let me know if you have any questions!
And if you decide you want to 'update' this post so it follows the challenge rules, tag me (@carrieallen) and I'll come back and get you a steemmonsters upvote. 😍
