PUBG - Player delete new Map
Players of the Battle Royale shooter PUBG had been waiting a long time for the second map, but some players do not like the Miramar map. Since there is still no way to select a map, some simply delete the new one to play only the older, more popular Map Erangel.
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds does not have a lot of maps yet, only two, randomly selected at the start of a game. PUBG became popular with the first map called Erangel, but many players were looking forward to the second one for a long time. So far PUBG does not offer a way to select a map directly. The developer Studio Bluehole has announced this feature, but so far not integrated in the game. Players who do not want to play a match on Miramar only have to option to end the game and start a new one.
A workaround is to simply delete the data of the unpopular map in their installation folder of PUBG. As a result, the card can no longer be loaded if a match starts and the player is then sent back to the lobby. There you can then start a new game and hope that this time it is Erangel's turn.
According to Reddit the data can be found in the folder steamapps> common> PUBG> TslGame> Content> Paks. The four pak files of the map Miramar begin with "desert". The deletion is not necessary, it is enough to rename the files. In extreme cases, this could even be considered as a reason for a ban if the developers declare it that way.
