Game Review | Sonic Forces Review PC | [ENG]

Hello all, come back with me @muhammad23 who will continue my review for the second time in today, and this game is still with the status of playing on PC / Laptop, the name of its game Sonic Forces PC version, this game is very exciting and no less exciting with other game games, only this game is challenging to fight shadow (darkness), for its complete, I will discuss!

A few months ago I ended my Sonic Mania review by saying that, yes, the rumors were true. But Sonic Forces, a new game developed by Son Son Sega at home, sent a blue hedgehog that spun back into the darkest days where Sonic was not good. If you love the purity and precision of Mania and gladly see the back of Vector the Crocodile and Charmy Bee, and feel never heard Sonic speak again, prepare to get the high-speed disappointment.

The troops kick things off with Sonic's shocking defeat at the hands of his mischievous enemy Eggman and bear crew from the serial villains back including Chaos, Metal Sonic, Shadow the Hedgehog, and a mysterious new heel called Infinite. With Sonic arrested and imprisoned over Death Egg (I can not believe I'm writing this), Eggman and his robot army are free to conquer the world. And that's where you came in, creating your own original Sonic character directly from DeviantArt to join in the resistance and stop it or whatever.

As you rotate you unfold a seemingly endless flow of apparel and accessories to your character, letting you combine some very silly clothes. You also have to choose their animal type, which opens up certain traits. For example, a cat keeps one ring after being hit; Wolves automatically pull the rings as they close; and the ring wanders again after being dropped if you are a hedgehog. But no matter the costume or the type you choose, you can always make sure of one thing: your character will look ridiculous.

Your time in the game is mostly split between your OC and two Sonic flavors: modern and classic. The last one is Sonic as it should be, without homing attacks, no shifting perspectives, and no nonsense. And while this stage has good speed and their backgrounds explode with color and variety, platforms without weight and boring design levels ruin the fun. But, really, the best thing about the classic Sonic, who describes it as 'from another dimension', is that he's really mute in cutscenes. Not a word.

The troops take every opportunity to make you look at the anthropomorphic animal scene that stands around big sneakers that speak earnestly about war.

And there are many cutscenes. One of the most refreshing things about Mania is how it puts the story aside to focus on action. But the Army takes every opportunity to get you seated through anthropomorphic animal scenes that stand around big sneakers talking earnestly about war. Sega, we do not need melodrama in our Sonic game: we just need a well-designed level to run very fast. Eventually I ended up skipping cutscenes, but hey, younger players might be able to pull something out of them.

The other levels are reminiscent of newer Sonic games, the perspective of a wild shift from a third person to the scroller side as you bomb along a series of linear rollercoasters, twisting, ring-strewn. Sonic handles almost as you would expect, but your OC is a little different. They can swing around the level with a grappling hook and use weapons including flamethrowers, drills, and objects that burn black holes. And finally your character works together with Sonic, who is like watching a bad Sonic fan art piece rise again.

You can play as Shadow as well, though in free DLC that serves as a prolog of sorts, filling in Infinite's new backstory villain. Or, if you're connected to the internet, you can 'hire' other players' characters to use as your own, tag when you play and use their weapon devices. There must be some great ideas circulating in the Force, but not many surprises. It's business as usual: business runs fast, bounces in springs, picks up rings, and spins around a vertical circle.

Sonic forces are not, like some entries in the series, very bad. There are several stages where you can not resist being swept away by its dangerous speed, thumping noise, and cluttered pinball table levels. It is just unfortunate that it was released so soon after Mania, who took the best of the old Sonic and made it glisten relevant again. Troops, however, were plagued by inconsistent level designs, floating controls, and Saturday morning cartoon storylines that only kids and Sonic fanatics can enjoy.

Expect to pay £35/$40
