Game Review | Review Game Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom PC | [ENG]
Hello everybody, come back with me @muhammad23 which is an update about the interesting games of course, and this game is also one of my favorite games, why i review this game, because this game has a fight against human big man unlike ordinary people, code word that I give you must already know if you ever watch the movie, and I just give the explanation.
How interested are you with action games from Koei Tecmo and Omega Force that finally arrive in the Western market - Attack on Titan will depend heavily on how familiar the franchise is in your personal life. If you include gamers who are not happy reading manga or watching anime and it's hard to understand why the hype about this anime title is so strong and adored, then this game probably will not enter the radar at all. But if you include one who loves manga or animenya series and understand how big the potential of this franchise could end up a qualified action game, then this is the answer to your long-standing questions later. Especially considering the many previous projects that try to bring its appeal to the game industry, but not end sweet.
Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom does look like a promising super project from the very beginning it was introduced. Omega Force, regardless of its status as a strongly associated developer with the name Dynasty Warriors, seems to understand clearly what makes this franchise so loved. They pursue visual qualities similar to their animated series, retain the Japanese version of the voice act, and assemble a side of gameplay that is strongly related to the variety of systems sold in the anime / manga series. Success or not they build enough content to keep you interested and play it? That will be another challenge.
Plot
For those of you who are familiar with this franchise in other media, Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom itself takes the entire timeline of the first animated story as a base plot. No extra content at all from the unadverted manga version becomes anime, so you are afraid of spoilers need not worry to menjajalnya. As for anime fans who hope this series will dynamically visualize a page that does not yet exist in the anime version, you will not find it here.
So, what about you who are not familiar? To be honest, tasting the Attack on Titan version of this game will culminate in a story without a clear conclusion, that can be ascertained. You will understand that this is about a special force in the last human defensive city that fights against giant humanoid creatures.
They are seen naked with no genitals whose goal seems to want to destroy the inhabitants of the city. You will recognize some important characters that can be called the main "characters" among the dozens that exist, the lore behind the existence of the variety of things you meet, to their respective roles. But if you are looking for a definitive conclusion and answer? So like an anime series adaptation in general, you will not get it here.
Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom will take a diverse perspective of characters for the story mode, not from Eren only. Koei Tecmo and Omega Force manage to break the story by giving you the opportunity to act as Mikasa, Armin, or the legend - Levi in it. The good news? You who already enjoy the anime / manga and lazy versions to see the course of the story you already know can pass right away, so you will move from one side of the action to the other side of the action quickly.
Close to Anime
Surprised was the first reaction we took out while enjoying Attack on Titan. Despite having heard about the commitment of Omega Force and Koei Tecmo to create an anime flavor flowed strongly from this video game series, it really looks beautiful. The decision to present a cell-shading style gives room to preserve the identity, but on the other hand, provides details that are not inferior to the animated version of the visualization is praised. Even to say, Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom is sticking strongly on the animenya version is very strong.
You who watch the animated version (which we do not hesitate to recommend if you miss it) will be pleased with what Omega Force and Koei Tecmo are offering here. Although he must still make it as a game that can be played with extra content that may not be in the animenya version, but all important scenes that appear diracik with so dramatic with a sweet detail. The angles that will never be foreign to you are brought back, with the same speed and intensity. The decision to keep the Japanese voice actor for him is also a really good decision.
Meet Dreams
Human beings certainly can not fight the Titans who not only come from a variety of sizes, but also sometimes show the "personality" all through abnormal variants that do not act like other Titan. Not only that, Titan with a larger size, vary, with a better intelligence level also appears to prey on them. The solution? A tool tied at the waist called 3DMG - Three Dimensional Manuever Gear that allows humans to move freely and a sword made of Ultrahard Steel to cut the skin and the Titan's own flesh. The good news? You can now feel it right on Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom.
With just a single button press, you can access this 3DMG freely. Like the web system in Spiderman games in general, it will instantly catapult you forward super-fast. If you have extra gas, you can hit the Boost button at the expense of some gas to move faster. But pull it again? He has different modes. Once you hook the same cable to Titan, it is focused on helping you maneuver and find better attack points. For gameplay reasons too, 3DGM's current speed of exploration and associated with Titan is also different. Koei Tecmo managed to make his function more balanced and comfortable to play.
Fortunately, the name Omega Force does not necessarily make this game ends like Dynasty Warriors where these Titans you can kill with no effort. So following the existing story lore, you still have to cut the backs of their necks to finish them off permanently. You can do it directly, but you can also do it gradually. Each Titan will be divided into five target limbs: left foot, right leg, left hand, right hand, and the back area of the neck that you can destroy. Depending on which limbs you destroy, you will also get mixed results. The loss of the hand will make them no longer able to catch and attack you, while the foot means losing balance that will make it easier to make their neck area as a target.
Repetitive
But as you can predict, Attack on Titan also has to deal with a problem that seems difficult to separate from the word Omega Force itself - repetitive. In the first hour or two, you may still be fascinated by what it offers in terms of gameplay. But when you've found the rhythm to utilize 3DMG optimally and you've used weapons that have greater damage, they become very easy to kill. The bad news is this game comes without enough gameplay variations to make your attention diverted. Most missions will end like this. You will go into one particular area with some Titan here and there. You will get a brief brief of what your primary mission is, from possibly killing the Abnormal Titan larger or just protecting a particular object / person until the time limit exists. In the center of the main mission, you'll meet a green exclamation mark that pops up here and there, ending with a request to "clear" the Titan that is striking around. If successful, you will get team members and also Resupply troops to fill your items back. So continuous until the end of the game. Interesting at the beginning, but the longer, the more boring.
Conclusion
So what can be concluded from Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom? Everything will return to your previous position you tasted it, whether you include people who are familiar with this franchise or not. For you who are not familiar, the attraction is not strong and special. But for those of you who fall in love with the anime series, it is clear that Omega Force and Koei Tecmo's efforts to offer you a taste of an authentic Attack on Titan game. The maneuvering sensation with 3DMG is executed sweetly through exploratory and fighting modes that are positioned differently, each character has different strengths, dramatizations close to the anime version, and the effort to subdue the intense Titan in the early hours of the game. But if you discard the connection and see it solely as an action game, it is too "ordinary". In addition to some of our complaints above, especially from the repetitive content, this game can be spelled out too easily. There are many elements that they really want to offer such as material systems or crafting, for example. But instead of asking you to repeat the mission or solve it differently to get a certain important material, it gets randomly and often ends up unnoticed. Scaling the enemy's adversity is also not worth the power of upgrading your weapons, which can easily begin to finish off the Titan once slashed with momentum right in the middle of the game.
So, whether he deserves to glance? We would rather recommend you to wait at a cheaper price level. There is no necessity or something so special that you should enjoy this game as quickly as possible, whether you are a gamer who loves his anime / manga series or if you are not at all familiar with it.
Suitable for gamers: who love anime / manga Attack on Titan
Not suitable for gamers: easy to get bored, not too familiar with Attack on Titan series
