Review and evaluation Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
It is very strange that in recent years we have seen Star Wars fail several times in the world of video games, but the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order story from Respawn Entertainment Studio is here to correct this, it is simply the game that every fan of the series is waiting for. The new title is really special and will also be a fan of science fiction games and you will see the effects of some famous titles such as Uncharted on the subject of exploration and movements and Dark Souls on the subject of fighting,
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, you play with the character of Ked Kedis the last of the game world, five years after the Jedi massacre, the empire is looking for all the survivors to kill them and end their dynasty, but somehow our hero Kal managed to survive. In removing the destroyed parts of the spaceships. But as expected, it was time that Cal had to use his force to save his friend. Here the empire knew him and had to use his laser sword, but simply our hero is not a professional and does not have the skill to fight them.
As he explores the universe and fights many villains, Cal will have many different and exotic friends who want to help him return the broken Jedi Order and defeat the empire to restore peace to the galaxy. The writing team at Risbon Studio showed us his skill with the main story and characters, and in the end you will learn a lot of things and you will love (and will also hate) many characters and sometimes the game gets off course but never lose its identity. Everything has been taken out in a way that is appropriate for the Star Wars world but the weakest thing besides the story is our dear hero Cal.
Well, the main game champion is not a bad character and I think Cameron Monaghan played well but he is a little naive and cowardly. There is nothing new or special about it and you will see its maturation as you progress the game and certainly there were key characters worse than Star Wars but it was a little frustrating when compared to other characters - even if you don't like the character you will enjoy a lot of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The game relies heavily on exploration where you will travel from one planet to another several times during your trip beside Cal and get new power and abilities will help you fight and exploration also where you can climb walls and balance on narrow pipes and swing on the ropes, but here comes the benefit of your force (Force). The first force you'll get will allow you to slow down things or enemies and then remember your exercises as you get young to get more powers like pushing and pulling as well as running on the walls - eventually the game from the same team that gave us Titan Bean.
When you acquire important skills and powers you will be able to reach completely new places similar to Tomb Raider or Good of War. For example, at the beginning you will not have the momentum, but after your progress, you will be able to use it to solve previous puzzles or push a bridge to open a new road or run from one wall to another. If you don't have the strength you will need to come back later. The environments of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are huge and there will be plenty of places and secrets that you can explore even if you can't reach everything. Each planet has its own environment and you can visit them in any order you want and come back to them whenever you want by visiting the ship captain Jerry's blabber.
The environments vary enormously as mentioned above and not just in appearance. For example, you are unlikely to climb a tree on Planet Bugano, but you will do this a lot on the planet Kashik and each one of them has its own distinct enemies. Huge damned places in Kacik but you won't see them anywhere else. Each planet has its own life and is different and the game makes it interesting for them to return to each planet several times, but each time you will be able to go to new places because of your abilities that will open you paths you could not reach previously. You can also open shortcuts for shorter crossings, but unfortunately there is no fast travel system and if you want to go somewhere you need to travel on foot. Let's say you wanted to get an item away from the ship and you didn't open any shortcuts. You'll have to fight, walk, jump again and go back the same way and sometimes even if there are shortcuts you will feel the road is long which may reduce the desire to go back and explore.
All this exploration may be really fun even if Cal is lonely, but it's not. Before entering the really fun and satisfying combat system, I want to talk about BD1, which I think is the best character of the galaxy. The wonderful little robot that rides on Cal's back may be the best companion you can get. It is not only a companion but a very important ally where it can check your surroundings and also save wherever you go and show you about the map you can reach whenever you want. Like Cal, BD1's capabilities will evolve further and will be able to open closed doors for you and even help you with many different things. You're really lucky.
The game is not just solving puzzles and exploring, in the end you are Gaidai and many want to kill you. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has a really fun fighting system nearby and wants to challenge you as well.It sometimes throws a bunch of enemies at you and some of them might be strong to make it a really difficult challenge and you may feel annoyed for a few minutes but you will undoubtedly return. The fighting system was satisfactory and suddenly it followed the style of FromSoftware studio games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
If you play a game from this studio you will see the impact of their games on Fallen Order directly from the points you can meditate and choose to prepare your health and replenish your inventory, but if you do that all the enemies that you killed will live again or how each enemy has a different endurance you must pay attention to Before you can attack and how Cal owns the same thing. You should learn the characteristic attack patterns of each enemy and plan your moves because one strike from some enemies may make you regret this move.
The combat system relies heavily on avoiding enemy strikes and using your fearsome laser sword and you can kill many different enemies with several strikes just in case you break their defenses. You can also repel shots (laser?) And shoot them back at the enemy - which is very satisfying. Cal has many movements, but there is no need to use them on all enemies, Vabdha requires you to jump to avoid strikes and then hit them several times and get away again, while some require you to run quickly and steal them with quick strikes. There are many animations that greatly increase the fun of fighting and all the challenges were fair, I will not lie to you I have died many times, especially when a group of enemies block you at an angle, then there is only one thing you can do is surrender, this made Gameplay is cheap and sometimes tiring, but the challenge has always existed.
Your forces play an important role in a combat system where you can catch an enemy and throw it away or you can push them from the top of a plateau, but are these forces not working on the big enemies? Use the power of slowing down and avoid their movements or beat them quickly before they get back on you again. As you progress and develop your character more and more you will become stronger than ever and you may think that you are the strongest galaxy until a strong enemy comes to remind you that you are still just a jeday amateur.
One of the most important factors in all the games is fighting bosses, they must be satisfying and enjoyable and some big games have failed like Death Stranding, but in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, boss fighting is fun and satisfying especially those who fight you with their swords to become a fair duel. I didn't see much difficulty fighting the bosses, and I killed a large percentage of them from the first time on the normal difficulty, but they were always fun and often had their own movements.
The graphics of the game and its world are amazing and have a lot of scenery but unfortunately there are a lot of technical problems even though I play on the PlayStation 4 Pro. Sometimes the graphics may disappear and appear suddenly or delayed loading and sometimes the enemies are late to do what they have to do, but the most annoying thing is when you go from region to region, then you have to wait for several seconds to load that area, which is not acceptable in the game in 2019. It was good and didn't affect the style of play and exploration was fun. When the game is fully borne you will see the aesthetics of the Star Wars world immediately.
Some players may be unhappy that exploration will only provide you with cosmetic elements or a background story about the world and characters you can learn from other game characters. There are only two elements that affect the gameplay, one of which increases the health points and the other increases the strengths. I might agree with this a bit, but I didn't really trust it and found myself on my laser sword allocation list every time I found a new part.
The problems I encountered with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order were fairly simple compared to everything the game does correctly. This is a great and beautiful game with different and fun environments and reminded me of what God Of War has given us in its world. The game has great sounds and an interactive and satisfying fighting system similar to that provided by Dark Souls, a system of exploration, climbing and avoiding obstacles of Uncharted quality as well as fast movements and running on the walls of Titanfall as I mentioned above. Star Wars films succeeded because they took lessons from the movies before them and Respawn Studio did the same thing with this video game and made it an experience that will delight fans of the series and even people who have never seen or read anything about it. I wish there was a better preservation system or a fast travel system and I wish there were no technical errors, but despite all these things, this is the best Star Wars game we have had in the last ten years and Respon Studio has done an excellent job and enjoyed my time a lot during my experience.
