The influence of youtubers in gaming

I love to research different internet trends, including the ones that have relation with Youtube and Gaming (because I believe that they are one of the most important pillars in today's digital world). I have been observing multiple Youtubers and gaming sales over the past years, and came across with some great answers and conclutions.

1. The youtubers have a huge digital influence. This may not be shocking considering that, if they have 10 million suscribers, they have a huge amout of potential customers that they can reach. For example a gaming youtuber plays a game, and his target audience (about 80% of his/her suscribers, because 2 of every 10 people follow a channel just because they liked a video but dont have a follow-up on that channels content) is 8 million people., from those 8 million people, working with a really REALLY small margin, if only about 10% buy this game, that is 800 thousand copies of a game. Take in mind that this is a great escenario for a company, and if they give it out to 10 different youtubers, they have a great reach for a particular game and don't have to spend that much in advertising or in marketing.
2. They can make a game very well known with a matter of 1 week. If we take the recent success of Cuphead, we can see that this was a game played by a lot of very known youtubers and streamers. If we talk in a digital forum about games or youtubers, almost everyone knows this title, and this is because it created a big impact in a lot of people because of youtubers playing it.
   
3. The greatest games are not always played by mainstream youtubers. If you take some of the past "Game of the Year" titles, you can see that the top tier youtubers (the ones with 10m+ suscribers) don't usually play them.
