So many people trying to make money off their hobby. Makes sense, but keep in mind that a hobby is usually fun for a reason. Throw the never ending quest for wealth into the equation and your hobby may turn into dread quite quickly. This happened to me with my art. As soon as I got into the rabbit hole of posting on social media I lost all enthusiasm to paint. Each to their own though, just my thoughts :)

I could see both perspectives. It depends what the hobby is to a certain extent I guess. Soccer players always mention how grateful they are to get paid to do what they love but its definitely not the same as forcing creativity for dollars. I love soccer and wouldn't mind getting paid to play but If I were a rapper (I'm a rap music fan not an artist btw) I imagine my music would just get worst every year as I feel forced to pump out song after song. Thanks for the input!
