If there is one thing that is most proud in the series of The Elder Scrolls game, it is consistency in creating the world and all its aspects. The tradition that Bethesda always holds as the developer is not only related to the name of the region and the race that is in it. Apparently, you can also find legends, folklore, and elaborate knowledge in Tamriel, the world name in The Elder Scrolls. Likewise with Skyrim, which is the name of the area inhabited a Nordic race that resembles the Vikings in the original world.

The story at Skyrim revolves around your adventure as a hero called Dragonborn. According to the Nordic legend at Skyrim, Dragonborn is a dragon exterminator who appears to liberate the world from the destruction caused by the act of dragons. When you follow the timeline of The Elder Scrolls storyline, Skyrim takes the theme of the time after the events in The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion. The storyline brought on Skyrim will certainly be more interesting when you follow the story in Oblivion. However, do not worry. Because Skyrim also provides a story that can be followed well. This game also provides a variety of in-game books that you can read so you can dive into the story.

Wait a minute; when you will be a dragon exterminator, will there be a dragon in Skyrim? Of course! Not just there, but lots of dragons you can hunt! This is one of the attractions of Skyrim. Besides of course his world is so big, so many secrets he kept, and a variety of activities that can make you forget the time.

Your adventure begins with the tradition of The Elder Scrolls, character creation! You can choose many aspects in the making of these characters, such as sex selection, body features, race, skin color, to face shape. The face that you can create basically starts from some of the templates that have been provided. Then, you can change the various features, ranging from the size of the eyes, the width of the jaw, the shape of the nose, until the age of the character! So you can make a face of a character that suits your taste.

Another thing that is not less important in making this character is race selection. You can find 10 races with different abilities in Skyrim. This selection is of course very important to determine your game style later. One thing you need to know from scratch; Skyrim does not set players to choose pre-defined classes like other RPG games. Instead, you will be given the freedom to shape your character abilities based on a unique character development system. This topic will be discussed later.

Back to race selection, basically your playing style will be divided into three, namely close-range fighter, long distance, and magic user. If you want to use a close-range fighting style, choose a race that supports it, such as Red Guard with a steady-state endurance, Orc capable of using Heavy Armor well, and Nord expert in using weapons. The election is a handful of character formation in Skyrim. You can also create hybrid-style characters, such as melee fighters who have healing abilities, sneaking experts who attack their enemies with illusory magic and make enemies killing each other, as well as close-range magicians with thick armor support. Switching from character creation, Skyrim is a medieval-themed RPG action game with the first person and Third Person cameras. You can change the camera easily between the two in the middle of the game using the mouse wheel. If you want to feel closer to the battle, then the FPS camera is a solid choice. However, third-party cameras also have their own advantages, especially when in an open area. You can see easier areas around to find threats and secrets.

This game is not just adapting a camera similar to FPS only. The concept of character control on Skyrim also resembles FPS. The use of WASD keys for character movement as well as the mouse to attack and shoot is also typical of FPS. Unless of course if there is no witness when you commit the crime! One thing you need to remember, everyone can be fought at Skyrim and all things can be taken, including against the shopkeeper and the king though.

Skyrim offers so many activities you can do. Starting from the number of additional quests that are offered to discover a variety of new areas with many rewards (and hazards) in them. In fact, when compared with running the main quest, exploring the Skyrim world is much more interesting to do. The feeling when you find a cool new weapon, a trap that can make you lose, until the enemy that challenges your ability is the most impressive thing in this game. Dynamic Skyrim world is also the main reason for the gamers to keep playing.

What is a dynamic world? Skyrim world is always changing? Yes, life in Skyrim runs by itself and they have their own activities! We have tried to play Skyrim using five different characters and all encountered different playing experiences! The traveler you had found near the town was not there anymore. Likewise with additional quests that can be taken from other characters (NPC). Dynamic Skyrim world is also shown with all the objects you find. The powerful weapon that the character you previously encountered in a crate will turn into another object while using another character.

Fortunately, you are not exploring blindly in the Skyrim world. New areas and Dungeons that you have not found will be visible on the compass at the top of the game screen. So you just follow the direction until you find it. To further facilitate your journey in the vast Skyrim world, the Fast Travel feature can be found on the map screen. Just select a place you've visited before and you'll get there. You will only lose time alone.

Dragon has a very important place in Skyrim, especially its relationship with you as Dragonborn. In addition to the variety of skills you have, Dragonborn also has a feature when compared with ordinary people. You can use a power called Shout! Apparently, all the great power that dragons do, like spraying fire and making a meteor shower is the result of he doing Shout! So, the battle of two dragons is actually a lethal conversation between the two. Well, this concept is the basis of Shout.

To launch Shout, you need two things, the required word (Word of Power) and the dragon's knowledge summarized in Dragon Soul. To get Word of Power, you must find the mural wall with an engraved inscription in dragon language. Usually, the wall is inside a dungeon that is kept by a strong enemy or is in the open but is guarded by a dragon! You will learn a word after standing for a few moments in front of it.

Each Shout is divided into three Word of Power. So, Shout has not completed if it has only one or two words. Its strength will also be much smaller. So you have to find three separate words of location to bring out the original power of a Shout. Not to mention you will not know the exact location of the related word. Because the location will always be random every time you start with a new character.

Overall, you can find about 20 Shouts with varying strengths, ranging from pushing enemies, sprinting, freezing enemies, summoning meteor rains, to summoning dragons to help you! When combined with three words for each Shout, you have to find 60 locations to get all Shout.

Once you find a word on Shout, it must be enabled by using Dragon Soul to be usable. How to get the Soul? Can you guess it? Of course by killing a dragon! We must admit, meet and fight the dragon at Skyrim is so exciting and exciting! Besides he can fly and attack you from the air with his Shout, dragons can also approach you to provide painful physical attacks. As a side note, the power of the dragon will develop with your character level (as well as all enemies in Skyrim). If you still care about social life and still want to enjoy enough sleep, we recommend not touching Skyrim. However, that way you just lost one of the best moments of your life!
