Dinocide - Welcome to Stone Age ®

Dinocide is a 2D platformer, with only a few essential controls - forward, backward, jump, and throw (stones, stone axes, arrows) whichever you find along the way. Without additional complication, the cintrols are absolutely familiar  to everyone who played even one platform in their life.

The enemies you encounter throughout the levels are nothing but a inconvenience between the beginning and end of the level. Time quickly runs out if someone hits / bumps you, but you can refill it easily by collecting food. To put it like this - the time represents your hunger, when it runs out you die of starvation, that's of course, if you don't fall into the abyss before.

The simple, not too complicated and robust old school mechanics is still there. The levels are short and tricky from time to time and, like it used to be cool in the 8-bit era, you are never in complete control over your character, or if you are, it's quite stiff. Even the "story" is similar, if there's any.

-Stone Age, a cruel world where only the strongest survive, someone kidnapped your beloved, and you decide to travel across mountains, oceans and deserts to rescue your soul mate. Along the way you encounter horrible creatures of the Stone Age, which will do everything they can to disable and prevent you from achieving your goal.

-During the levels you can find other weapons, beside the initial stones you throw. There are arrows, stone axes and even a boomerang. Also, you run into small dinosaurs, which will help you in certain situations. If you manage to survive, and reach the end of the level with a tool or an animal that you collected during the level, it will be inserted in some kind of inventory.

Dinocide is a game that simply wakes the nostalgia in older players.

The game is graced by the difficulty of old 8-bit games, blackened by the not so good flow of levels and enriched by the new system which stores resources for the next level.
