The arc of the game happens after the first tournament where the ultra-tech company organizes the second tournament looking for strong fighters around the world to test their new biological weapons, fighters like (Fulgore, Riptor, and Cinder) form part of the arsenal of killer weapons of this company After the war god (Eyedol) was defeated by orchid strange events occurred in the world, opening interdimensional portals to the past Forcing them to travel 2000 years to the past, however other events arise with the arrival of these fighters to the past awakening the demon lord (Gargos) and the appearance of new characters from the past like (Tusk, Maya, and Kim wu) who seek the overthrow of the demon god Gargos to save the planet from destruction.

This is a new prototype created by ultra-tech since the original was destroyed by Jago in the first tournament, now he seeks revenge.

Jago: After achieving his goals destroying fulgore in the first tournament, he was possessed by the spirit of the tiger and this betrays him and becomes in the demon god of chaos Gargos after this Gargos manages to control him After getting rid of this, he swears revenge.

B. Orchid:

She is a secret agent infiltrated in the tournament to investigate the true intentions of ultra-tech after the fall of the god of war eyedol, a time portal opened, catching her 2000 years in the past, now orchid tries to find a way to return, and destroy Gargos.

Glacius: During the events in the first tournament, glacius defeats cinder and escapes from ultratech control, with the technology of the company tries to fix his spacecraft and return his planet.

Sabrewulf:

also called count Konrad V.Sabrewulf is a scientist who lives with the disease called lycanthropy, was captured and forced to participate in the tournament by ultratech promising him the cure of his illness.

Spinal: After being defeated in the first tournament by thunder, spinal manages to revive and travels in the past for revenge and recover his freedom at the hands of gargos.

Tj Combo:

during his great performance in the first tournament, Combo manages to defeat riptor and regain his title as the best boxer in the world was sent to the past after trying to destroy ultra-tech facilities, now combo seeks to discover what happens and a way to back home.

Tusk: a warrior of the past and the ancient world known and praised as a hero, seeks only one thing, defeat the god of chaos and save his world.

Maya:

She is a queen of the ancient time, Delegate to seal and defeat Gargos and Eyedol, was exiled by her own tribe to the execution of the demon lord and reclaim his throne again.

Kim Wu: She is a monk of the east specialist in martial arts, and descendant of the ancient heroes who sealed eyedol and gargos in the past, realizing the resurrection of the god of chaos is seeking to save his people and destroy him once and for all.

Gargos:

better known as the demon lord and the god of chaos, reborn again to bring destruction and chaos to the world his shape resembles an immense gargoyle that has an immense power formerly rival of the god of war (eyedol).

the gameplay of this title is very complex, if you're not used to this style of game like King of fighters personally it was very difficult to learn and perform high combos (Killer) but with much practice and perseverance, it is possible to be a master in killer instinct. Also, we have the advantage of practice and focused training where we can learn and execute every technique and combo pressing "Z" we have access to a command list very useful. the graphics in the decade of 90s were exceptional, maintaining its perfect 2D essence with scenarios in 3D, camera, movement, colors implemented, everything is absolutely stunning without mentioning the design of each scenario is so brutal a very successful combination in my opinion. Rareware impressed us with this new killer instinct remastered, details, effects of each skill are totally fabulous.

This is undoubtedly one of the most influential attractions in this title, the soundtrack, the combination of rock and classical music were one of the most emblematic things that marked my childhood I want to share with you all these masterpieces.

This title was one of the most outstanding of the 90s being original, its good graphics, and the game mode, however, the complex functions wasn´t an impediment to becoming Killer Instinct a true jewel, a classic that will always be remembered for generations like was the Snes KI, in my opinion, it stood out more and broke all the barriers and restrictions that the previous KI had, fluency, speed, amazing special effects if you have not tried it and you love fighting games I recommend KI GOLD.

The game has different modes: Arcade mode, Team, Team Elimination, Tournament, Practice, Training, Focused Training and Options and we have access to some secret options that will be enabled only, finishing the game.

* Play as Gargos: being in selection panel we must wait for about 2min then the menu screen will change to a brief introduction of a character, later we must quickly press the following combination :( Z-A-R-Z-A-B) in this order if you hear gargos laughing congratulations you have him now enabled.

• secret options: to do it in the same way, wait for the bio of one of the characters to appear, then press this combination (Z-B-A-L-A-Z) in this order if we hear a voice saying "perfect" we successfully perform the cheat.
