Today I want to share with you all this fantastic game, which from my childhood brought me good memories I'm talking about Guilty Gear X. a fighting game developed by the company Arc system works, which have very good gameplay, graphics and an incredible story, in this post I will relate certain important aspects that in my opinion made this the great franchise that is nowadays.

this saga has many versions for different consoles also has a manga called (Guilty Gear Xtra) 3 novels and 6 ova, spin-offs which I find very impressive and interesting. My experience with this game or the first time I was able to witness it was in its second installment guilty gear X from the console (Dreamcast)where everything started, the first thing that caught my attention was the theme evil and dark, the setting of the stages was very cool, when I was child I used to have nightmares with one of these characters and stages for its appearance very similar to a horror movie for example with Zappa or Testament however its only attracted my attention to these characters and this game.

the first game was released in 1998 for playstation, which was good in my opinion but with the arrival of its sequel all this went up in quality in all possible aspects, graphics, gameplay, characters and much more, this game has too many deliveries did not have a major change, only adding 1 or 2 characters or 2 scenarios or adding other modes, like, survival, history mode, and gallery.

Everything begins with the discovery of an unlimited energy by humans which they called Magic, following this source of power these through experiments decided to create a type of artificial life which they called Gears. The most powerful weapon created by humans (Justice) revealed to his creator and starts the war of 100 years between humans and gears and the union of nations organizes a tournament in order to find fighters able to win and stop justice.

With the victory of humans, the 100-year war finally ends, locking justice, however, another gear called testament was looking for a way to revive him again and start a plan to eradicate the human race, as the tournament progressed a bounty hunter called Sol Badguy manages to defeat testament and face justice with much effort he managed to beat them, becoming the champion of the tournament organized by the Union ofNations once again the fierce justice was stopped and peace was restored to the world?).

This is one of the strengths of this game because the gameplay and mechanics is something difficult if we are beginners, now if we have experience with fighting games like king of fighters or street fighter this will be easy, the game gives us an excellent practice mode which we have access to list of commands, to learn to play with each character. what differentiates guilty gear from other games of this genre is its fluidity in combos in every sense graphics despite being in 2-D good graphic adaptations and settings in terms of scenarios, providing a striking visual spectacle without mentioning the exquisite range of colors and its original design in all aspects including characters, animations a modality of air combos something similar to marvel vs capcom and a nice system of counter attacks or parry. Tension mode is one of my favorites since entering this phase we can execute "Destroy´s" attacks, I can still remember that some of these representative attacks scared me so much for how terrifying it was to be more accurate Zato-1 / Eddie or Zappa a clear example here and of the fantastic overdrives.

In the world of video games there are diverse cultures the creators of these can refer or a method of "protest" in the case of Guilty Gear intolerance. Within the game, there is a male character a little different from the rest I mean Bridget yes, friends, ("the little girl with the yo-yo and wearing a nun costume") is really a boy. Who was forced to dress and act as a girl by his parent to protect him, his parents are renowned British and in their culture, the birth of twin babies is bad luck omen in their town so if this happens one of the 2 babies had to die, however, Bridget's parents defied this law and now he tries to find his own way and identity proving that his town is wrong.

This game is certainly one of my favorites the reason is more than being just a fighting game has a lot of content enjoyable as mentioned above (anime/manga) ova to read, play and watch and much more. which make it even more attractive In spite of the nightmares that caused me hahaha something totally surpassed, the excellent soundtrack, I´m a fan of rock and instrumental music in all its aspects so if you like the heavy metal and fighting games this is for you, you can not miss this relic of the new millennium. Nowadays Ark work System has released a new Guilty gear which I had not the privilege of playing, however, I follow very closely, the only thing I can say about this is that it is more brutal than all the previous ones in all its aspects.
