Finally Subscribed to DOTA2 Plus! Using STEEM!
After over 5 months of playing DOTA2 I finally gave in to the temptation and finally subscribed to DOTA Plus! To top it all off I use STEEM to pay for my subscription. How cool is that? :)
So what made me finally subscribed?
Because of the disappointing price of STEEM in the market this past few days($0.7-$0.8) added with a lot of accounts seemingly powering down, I was a little worried about the future of this platform. For months now I have been mostly positive about what Steem can do and will be in the months to come. But looking closely, we are somewhat not moving forward or are we? XD
Anyway, with Bitcoin on one of it's lowest low I've decided to cash-out some of my liquid STEEM to buy those dips. It's honestly not that much but for someone who have absolutely no experience on this trading thing, this itself is a good learning opportunity. I have some extra liquid STEEM and Bitcoin is at its low. When else should I try right? :)
So I've decided to convert those liquid STEEM via blocktrades and sent it to my Coins.ph wallet. If you are from the Philippines, this probably is one of the most recommended wallet to convert crypto to fiat money.
Anyways, as I was going through the app I've noticed this one: "Steam Wallet Codes" and smiled a little bit as we all know DOTA2 is on Steam. And so the rest is history... LOL
I'm usually a very thrifty person when it comes to my "own" real fiat money but for some reason I honestly don't mind spending crypto money on Stuffs like these. Lol It still amazes me what crypto's can do.
Anyway, just to be clear I am not planning on powering down but will likely cash-out my liquid Steem once in a while (if I have too much extra). I am still focus on powering up this account and making it on a dolphin level without investing any real money. GO STEEM!
Gongrats!! Despite all the red flags I saw I still believe that the system will prevail and the coinj is just weak now (I'll say that even if it went to $0.05)
Do you know that the lowest steam was equals $0.07 and it was way more than that before it?
Great for you, most of what I've been doing on STEEM sites is experiments for learning purposes. So happy for you that you learned to use @blocktrades, I feared it at fist but now I really love using t whenever I need to buy steem/sbd or move mine to another currency.
I liked reading this, didn't know that philippines already had a way to get Steam wallet codes, it was one of the countries I thought about when making this post, but I'm not as good with geography. Glad you have easier way than mine...
Yep! I really love how fast and easy-to-use blocktrades is, although I think the fee is kind of high (1-2 STEEM) compared to others.
Niceee! Didn't know about that before but I don't think my PC can't handle yet any other game/s.
I have been saving up to buy a gaming pc in the future though and will definitely look at that one. Thanks! :)
I found places with higher fees, tell me about the sites you know with less fees than that (of course, not Bitcoin, its fees are always high.)
Will you be interested in a game from my shop in the future? What are the least likey games you want to play from my list?
What's the game you'd like but not in my list?
Yeah bro. Crypto is sure not blooming as we expect it too... And so far steem is a far cry from saving. For now, mingling with other cryptos is a wise choice but still hold on a bit of steem, we're about hitting a base and you know what that means..... ✌
Yep that's the plan! :)
I would still mostly focus on increasing my SP but will cashout at least 25% of my liquid Steem payout in a month.
3-4months to go before the year ends and SMT is just around the corner too. :)

that was a good choice! i wish i could do it too. For some weird reason i can't even take and spent 1 steem for something :P I have the probably stupid mindset (because i have witnessed all the different changes in the prices) to use my steem-sbd in order to buy something or to just turn them to fiat when they at least reach 3$ worth :p
It may happen, it may not i probably be waiting :P
I can somehow understand what you feel as I have been thinking of doing some contests now to increase my followers but just can't let go of my liquid Steem lol
I have to admit though that it felt good converting it to fiat money lol
We will all wait. :)

I believe bitcoin and cryptos will moon once again when December comes when people are in a tremendous rush to buy & sell things. Now is a great time to stock up on currencies while things are still on the low end.
